Why We Love Our Halloween Candy Bucket

Updated on January 22, 2015

Forget the Halloween costume, the most important dilemma at Halloween is what they are going to carry their Candy in? When Kids go Trick or Treating, of course they need a holder for all those treats, we love our Plastic Pumpkin Bucket .

We love our 'lil pumpkin bucket so much, it has become a part of our family, at this time of year. Our original one has lasted us for years and was very cheap to buy.

The reason we ended up with a Plastic Pail was because the bags my daughter had used in previous years were awkward and would burst easily. Nothng to spoil their Halloween than seeing all their hard earned Candy on the ground!

Over the years we have have used the pail for collecting candy, putting the 'treats' in, so that when the Trick or treates woud visit the would delve into the pail and choose their treats. Part of the Dogs Halloween Costumes and even turned them into friendly Light up Pumpkins.

It amazes me how much this little pail has featured in our lives at Halloween.

Last year we decided to buy some more of these plastic buckets as we had just moved home and wanted to use these in child friendly decorations. We put a small torch inside it and it lit up beautifully, The young kids loved it as it's a not so scary face.

No matter what the kids are dressing up as the Candy Pail is indeed the most important, You can even buy just about any kind of themed Bucket you can think of to match their outfits.

Now the only problem is who is going to carry them when they are all full?

Have a Safe and Happy Halloween.

Love the pics too! It was my daughter's first time trick or treating this year and she had a ball going from door to door with her pumpkin bucket!

I'm sure he/she is a real sweetie, but your dog looks pretty fierce, and I wouldn't like to say no if it turned up at my door asking for a treat.

I always gave my sons pillow cases to use for candy and the pillow cases always got destroyed. A bucket would have been such a better idea. Love the picture of your dog and your daughter makes such a cute witch! Happy Halloween!
