Halloween Fun - Ice Cube Trays

Updated on October 4, 2014

Don't Forget your Halloween Ice Cubes for the Party!

Add Halloween Fun Ice Cube Trays and let the party begin... Halloween drinks are much more fun with spooky, creepy and scary ice cubes that your guests will probably not be expecting! They're unexpected in all those scary named and spooky cocktails so also work as great conversation starters for your party.

Ice cube trays have sure come a long way over the years. You'll find witches, bats, eyeballs, spiders, pumpkins, skull and crossbones and more to add some variety to any kind of Halloween party you want.

I use many Halloween molds as ice trays since they can tolerate freezing without damaging them and then reuse them for gelatin, candy - especially chocolate or even to make homemade soaps.

Check out these Fun Ice Cube Trays, some of my own photos and a video treat for your next Halloween theme party sure to please everyone. Don't miss the video demo for a fun punch recipe. Ice cube trays are simple, affordable and great conversation starters too.

I love this mold for a super huge ice cube that would be perfect as the ice for a Halloween punch inside a large punch bowl.

Wilton Halloween Jack O Lantern Pumpkin Mold - A Big and Fun Halloween Ice Tray!

Make sure to make this ice mold well in advance of when you need it.

When I used it, it took at least two full days for it to be totally hardened for ice and the same for as a jello mold -although it's fantastic when done!

If you have a clear punch you could make use this ice mold with just a hint of food coloring to make it orange to resemble a pumpkin. I've used it as an ice tray and jello mold and it works well for both.

More Pumpkin Molds to Make Ice Cubes

Color your Halloween Ice Cubes with a hint of food coloring or use your favorite juice.

Mini pumpkin shapes remind me of how they look when you pick your own pumpkins and they're super cute. Each cube will be 1 1/4" for a small glass.

Freeze one tray at a time and after the cubes have frozen, place them in a bag or container while you make more.

This silicone mold gives you not only pumpkins but, three leaves to enhance your Halloween fall decorations.

Use any Halloween jello mold to make more unique shapes of ice using either plain water, your favorite juice or fresh herbs.

Jello molds that make creepy Halloween shapes the kids will love - and adults do too!

Just use your imagination to use them as either ice cubes for individual drinks, a punch bowl, to chill shrimp or to make chocolate treats.

How would you use these little pumpkin molds?

I love these silly pumpkin faces with deep crevices to show the details for Halloween ice. Each one is 2.5" across so should fit in most drinking glasses or why not cool off a hot bowl of soup with an iced pumpkin!

Halloween Fangs for Ice! - I didn't know they made fang shapes for ice trays but, I like them!

Creepy and spooky shapes of ice is just a little added fun for your party.

Skull and Crossbones Ice Cube Tray - A nice Spooky Halloween Surprise in a Drink!

This ice tray is super cool with 8 total cubes that you'll want to keep ready for all your Halloween theme parties. The skulls will stay face up in your cocktail and have great details as well as last long in your drink. The cubes are easy to remove by gently bending the tray until they pop out.

How about 10 little bats for your cocktails at a Halloween party? Better make a few trays of ice to keep the drinks chilled!

Or, I think it would also be fun to use these little bat shapes around a shrimp tray to keep the shrimp nice and cold instead of plain ice.

Fill with water, wait till it's almost set and then add a few drops of red food coloring that will swirl inside some of the crevices for a creepy large ice cube to place inside your favorite pitcher or bowl.

Below is a photo I took when I made this jello mold for a Halloween party using unflavored gelatin and when it was almost frozen added a touch of red food coloring around the edges.

The center didn't take the color so it appears as flesh which, I thought made it even more spooky.

This large mold does take about 2 full days to freeze so make sure to plan ahead.

Brain Mold makes a great Ice block for your punch or make a wiggly, jiggly gelatin!

This is one of the Halloween displays I've used to showcase all the yummy yet scary snacks, including the Brain Mold.

I really liked using the brick wall as a backdrop and decorated the table with spider web tablecloth.

Add lots of window clings if decorating large windows such as these.
