Create a Spectacular Halloween Light Show

Updated on August 15, 2014

DIY: Creepy and Fun Outdoor Halloween Lighted Decor!

Some very imaginative people just love Halloween and create fabulous light disyplays and shows every year. In fact, it seems like more people are creating elaborate light shows just for this holiday every year! Some even have light shows with music!

There are those that think that it is irreverent to decorate your house for Halloween. There are also some of us who think it is just plain fun to dress up one's house with fun lights.

Make your own Halloween Graveyard Outdoor Display!

Ok, so you are inspired to create your own Halloween Display. Well, a graveyard is a classic one to build. Find something in your garage to use as tombstones. Have any plywood? What about cardboard boxes? You can cut out all kinds of shaped grave markers, paint them with some spooky colors. Maybe find some Spanish Moss to drape on the "stones" and trees. I am sure everyone can spell "RIP"!

Here are some Halloween props on Amazon that would be just too spooky! Make sure you order early (as in today!) to make sure that the props you want will get to you on time.

Halloween Outdoor Decorations and Inflatables are becoming so very popular. Do you think it is because they are so much fun to create? Do you think it is a bad thing to have these decorations?

Feel free to respond or comment. Thank you.

Oh yes, do not forget to give me a thumbs up at the top or bottom of the page!

Do you think Halloween Yard Decorations are overdone?

I think they are getting popular because they are fun to watch and create. I assume they leave the house for halloween, though. It is hard to imagine getting through the night with all those flashing lights. The same goes for the neighbors: they have to deal with the flashing lights, and I am sure some little kids are terrified of the talking houses!

I don't see anything bad about having these decorations. The more the merrier, I would say.

I think the more the better. There is so much misery thrown at us by the media. Let's counteract with more Halloween decorations. Cool lens.

very entertaining. from my pocket it would be a bit of an excess. too bad the displays are not solar powered. It must be the psychedelic in me, I love lights (and water) put to music. Good work putting this together.

I love this - we go wild at Christmas (well my husband does!) I need to show him this...It is all just fun, something this world is lacking in its fast paced life.
