Halloween Cookies

Halloween Cookie Recipes
I take Halloween seriously. I love to make my own costumes, decorate my home, and bake a number of Halloween assorted treats.
In this lens, I will share with you pictures from my latest Halloween Cookie escapade. All of the Halloween cookie recipes that I recommend this lens are recipes that I have tested out myself, so I can say that they are worth the time it takes to create them!
Happy Baking!
Spooky Halloween Eyeballs - Chocolate Covered Peanutbutter Balls

I am a fan of Allrecipes.com for all of my recipe needs. The Halloween themed cookies I used are all based on recipes I found on this website. All of the recipes I've shared here are ones that I've made myself, so I am confident in these recommendations.

You pinch the top of these chocolate cookies to make the ears, and then candy corn and red hot candies make the nose and eyes for these adorable cat cookies. - Spooky Witches Fingers Recipe
These finger shaped cookies have an almond nail held on by a bit of red gel frosting. The spritz cookie dough is really easy to manipulate, and a hint of almond extract gives them a great taste. - Halloween Popcorn Pumpkins Recipe

I'm not sure if these count as a cookie, but they are chow mein noodles covered in chocolate. These are very addictive! - Holiday Spritz Cookies Recipe
I made these simple cookies with orange food coloring, dipped them in semi-sweet chocolate and covered the chocolate with Halloween Themed Sprinkles. - Spooky Halloween Eyeballs Recipe
These are chocolate covered peanut butter balls. White chocolate decorated with red food coloring give these tasty treats a spooky appearance.

Halloween Cookie Cutters
I didn't use any cookie cutters to create the Halloween Cookies shown in this lens. But you can create a wider variety of shapes (in less time) by using these Halloween themed cookie cutters.

Halloween Sprinkles
Turn simple shaped cookies into Halloween Goodies by using Halloween Sprinkles! I took advantage of orange and black, bone shaped, bat shaped, pumpkin shaped and eyeball shaped sprinkles on the cookies shown in this lens.
What do you serve at a Halloween Party?
Well, I've never actually hosted my own Halloween party, but I've been to many, and I often just buy something at the store to bring to the potluck. But I love those spider cookies. I'll be needing to bring something desserty to a Halloween party this year, so I'll be back for that recipe.
Some of those treats are spooky looking but not so scary I won't take a bit out of all of them. Great looking stuff!
these look amazing - angel blessed and it will feature on my squid angels road trip to halloween when I get it finished.
Hi chemknitsblog,
I enjoyed your lense. I'll try those 'spooky witches fingers' for sure, they look great!

Ooohhh...scary fingers!
Mummy fingers! Little smokies wrapped up in a crescent. Yummy!
Some day I'll get ambitious enough to try some of this stuff. Probably once the kids are tall enough to help.
I love these cookies, it would be so much to eat them with kids. Great cookies!
