Halloween Sweatsuit Costumes

Updated on February 22, 2014

Admit it. You've waited until the last minute again haven't you? Halloween is nearly here, and you still don't have a costume.

Never fear! If you own a sweatsuit, (or can make a quick run to the discount store to grab one), here are some super-easy costumes you can make!

Fried Egg Costume

Wear a white sweatsuit. Cut a circle of craft felt, and safety-pin or hot glue it to the front of your sweatshirt.

You're a fried egg!

Turtle Costume

Wear a green sweatsuit. Cut a large oval from green poster board, and use a dark marker to add shell lines to it. Staple loops of elastic to the underside of your 'shell', to slip your arms through.

You're a turtle!

Skunk Costume

Wear a black sweatsuit. Paint a white stripe down the back, or use white masking tape to create the stripe.

Add a tail by pinning a black sock to your sweatpants in the back.

You're a skunk!

Bunny Costume

Wear a pink, brown, or white sweatsuit. Safety-pin or hot glue a large pom-pom or a powder puff to the backside of your sweatpants. Cut ears from construction paper or craft felt. Attach them to a headband, or bobby pin them in place.

Carry a carrot as an accessory.

You're a Bunny!

Ladybug Costume

Wear a black sweatsuit. Cut a large oval out of red poster board, and paint big black dots on it. Staple loops of elastic to the underside of the poster board, so that you can slip your arms through the loops to hold it on.

Use black pipe cleaners attached to a headband to form your antenna.

You're a Ladybug!

What costume did you wear this year for Halloween?
