How to Have a Star Wars Christmas
Star Wars Holiday
Are you a big Star Wars fan or know someone else who is? Then why not incorporate this theme into your holiday traditions.? There are many ways to add a touch of George Lucas' screen magic to your home.
From decorating ideas, including ornaments and stockings, to cool toys and more, we'll check out great ways to have a fantastic celebration. Both of my sons are huge fans, so we definitely have some of these added to our tree. I hope you like my selection.

Star Wars Christmas Tree
A great way to celebrate the holidays is by creating a Star Wars tree. Start with some lights, add some decorations and don't forget a cool tree topper.
Now, you may only want to add a touch of the theme to the family tree, but think of how fun it would be for a kid who loves the series to have a small tree in their room dedicated to this theme.
One year I surprised my kids with their own small trees in their rooms and they loved the idea. I still do it every year.
Let's start with the lights.

Novelty Christmas Lights
I love novelty lights. I use them along with regular lights on my tree. If you're a fan, you might enjoy this selection.
Is there anyone who doesn't love R2D2? Think how cool these would look on the tree.
Kurt Adler puts out a lot of great holiday decorations and these Yoda lights are no exception.
Clone Wars is still very popular with the kids. How about some trooper lights?
One of my favorite characters is C3PO. That's probably why I like these lights so much.
Yoda Tree Topper
Of course it's important to have a great tree topper. I think there are many wonderful characters in the Star Wars movies. With that said, if I was going to use a Star Wars tree topper, I would definitely pick Yoda, one of the greatest Jedi masters in history!
Star Wars Ornaments
There are many great Star Wars ornaments that can be added to a tree. I love that there is a variety of characters to choose from.
Isn't this a fun way to get into the holiday spirit? This particular ornament is for standing, rather than being hung on a tree.
Luke Skywalker is one of my favorite Jedis. What a cute gift this would make for a fan.
Han Solo is such a lovable character. This original ornament is from 1999.
Which is better? The original Star Wars trilogy or the latest one?
The Original Star Wars
This is what started it all.
Check out this fun trailer from the original movie.
Star Wars Christmas Stockings
I love hanging up the Christmas stockings. I know how much my kids anticipate what they'll wake to find in them on Christmas morning. Why not add a touch of a Star Wars theme with a decorate stocking for the holidays? Here are some fun ideas.
Han Solo Frozen
Remember this from the movie? It looked like the end for Han.

Star Wars Christmas Decorations
So far we've covered the tree and stockings. However, there are other holiday decorations available. I personally love to decorate the mantle, along with adding a table centerpiece. Of course, I randomly place Christmas decorations here and there around the house, especially in the children's rooms. Here are some decorations you might enjoy.
Lightsabers are a Jedi's weapon. They hold incredible power. Think of the power they have had throughout the Star Wars movies. They can be used for good when needed, or, in the wrong hands, such as the Sith, as deadly weapons. Darth Vadar even used one to cut off his own son's, (Luke) hand.
Kids love to play Star Wars games using lightsabers. Fortunately, no one's hand will be cut off during play! Check out some great lightsabers.
