Jake and the Neverland Pirates Party Invitations
An interesting way to deliver you invites would be to make your own treasure map invitations think treasure map to your house. This can easily be done by drawing a map and marking the "X" to your location. You could even use brown paper bags and make it more themed towards the party as demonstrated on the Scrap inspired blog where there is tutorial to make awesome Jake and the neverland pirates treasure map invites.
Once you have everything in place, carefully roll the map up and tie it with a string or ribbon. For an added flair. Use small recycled water bottles and put sand in the bottom. Then pop your map inside and deliver it to your pirates-to-be.

Jake and the Neverland Pirates Prefilled Party Favor Boxes
A great way to sort out all your party favor woes at one time. These Jake and the Neverland themed favor boxes are all licensed by Disney. Each favor box consists of the a sticker sheet, party blowout, telescope, gold pirate earring, pirate bandana and a water game. The favor box itself is a treasure chest which makes it more enticing for guests as they'll want to open it up to see the treasure inside.
DIY Jake and the Neverland Pirates Party Favors Ideas and Supplies
Perhaps you prefer to include a few handmade items in there too and with this theme the best way to do that would be to make kids things that come right from the show. Designs by Chelle has a great tutorial for making your own pixie dust pouch if you are good with a sewing machine. If you're not, then you can purchase some cheap drawstring pouches to do the job.
Another great favor is a pirate sword just like the one Jake wields. Mom Endeavors has a tutorial to make DIY swords from paint sticks. However, that tutorial makes black and silver swords and Jake has a wooden sword. So you may want to get some brown paint and a black sharpie to make the swords look more like his.
You can also make maps of Neverland to give to your guests so that Cubby is represented too! From tracing an old map, adding distinctive Neverland spots on it and using teabags to give the paper an aged look you can easily make an ancient looking Neverland map. The kids will love having all the signature items from their favorite characters.
Chocolate Gold Coins
In the show whenever Jake, Izzy and Cubby solve a puzzle or pirate problem they receive the reward of gold doubloons. These chocolate gold coins would make great "gold doubloons" for guests to find in their favor boxes or would even work well if given as rewards for winners in a game.
Drawstring Pouch Favors
Izzy always has her sack of pixie dust which she uses mostly in emergency situations. A good way to replicate that would be to use these small drawstring bags... Of course you can make adjustments to make it look more like Izzy's but for how much you get per order these are definitely good value. Fill these pouches with glitter for the pixie dust. It will be a definite hit with girls in particular.
Captain Hook Hands
Mean Captain Hook is always trying to get in Jake and his friends way by stealing their stuff. One thing is for sure he is not called Captain Hook for nothing as he has a hook on one hand from where tick tock the croc bit it off.. Ouch! Include some Hook hand party favors for kids to wear and prance around like the Captain himself. They'll have tons of fun pretend to get up to mischief with a hook on one hand.
Jake and the Neverland Pirates Birthday Cake Ideas
If you don't have the cake decorating skills but you do want something that will wow your child, then you may want to go the professional route. I would gather some Jake and the neverland pirates cake ideas and pictures from various sources. Pick one I like and print it off to show the cake decorator so they have a good idea of exactly how I would want the cake.
If you want to make your own however, it really isn't too hard. You can print out these free Jake and the neverland pirates cake toppers templates onto heavy cardstock and attach them to popsicle sticks or buy small character figures to top the cake. Frost the cake blue for water and then crush up vanilla wafers to make sand. Place the characters on top and voila you have your own pirate island cake. Add some small palm trees (or make your own) to add a tropical flavor.
For cupcakes you could make skull and cross bone cupcakes using decorating gel, sprinkles and a stencil of the skull and crossbones can be helpful too.

Jake and the Neverland Pirates Party Food Ideas
Now for the food, you want to have plenty of pirate themed treats but things that are still going to be appealing to young kids. One of the things I love about Jake and the Neverland Pirates is that they are always encouraging healthy snacks, so make sure you have plenty of tropical fruits on your table. Heart Hugs Designs had this awesome idea for a watermelon pirate ship that I would love to try.
If you want some great ideas for how to round out your food table or rename some of your child's favorite foods so they fit the theme, head to Mom Endeavors. She created an adorable pirate spread that the kids will be sure to love and will even please picky palettes. A cute idea would be to hide some chocolate coins in the healthier foods so as the kids eat the healthy foods they will get rewarded with gold doubloons!
Party punch is always a must-have. To make this little pirate-friendly "grog" use a blue juice or Hawaiian Punch - this will resemble the ocean water - pour it into a large punch bowl. Take an orange and slice it into sections about an inch thick. Use wooden skewers with some black electrical tape for flags and stick it through the orange slice and out the bottom (as seen in the pic to your right). Tropical themed drinks or smoothies with coconut milk would also make delicious beverages too.
Note; You will want a long enough skewer to keep your orange-boats lodged upright in the tumbler (or they will sink).
How to make Pizza Crackers
Don't forget to add some saltine crackers on the table for Sully too! Include a few cracker toppings like cheese and ham but for something a little interesting why not try pizza crackers.
Jake and the Neverland Pirates Party Decorations
For decorations you can easily create a pirate island feel by getting a roll of brown paper and a roll of green paper. I suggest rolls because they relatively affordable and you will be able to make a huge impact with them. Use the brown paper to cut out palm tree trunks. You can either make these flat against the wall or stuff them with crumbled newspaper for a 3D effect. Then use the green paper to make huge palm tree leaves. Now all you need to do is cover the floor with sand! No I'm not serious.
For added fun you can either get wall decals or draw/print large images of the characters and put them on the walls among the palm trees.
Stringing pirate flags across the table edge or wall is another wonderful touch. Add small tin buckets with sand and trinkets or seashells on the table. Plastic pirates swords and hats are readily available and can be used as placards for the kids at the table and also as favors.
Make your own AARRHH signs and place them on the table, as well. Do this by cutting out a cartoon speech bubble then write ARRHH on it. Glue a craft stick to the back.
Jake and the Neverland Pirates Wall decals
Use these Jake and the Neverland pirates wall decals to brighten up the party area. The look of excitement on your little ones face when they see their favorite characters all around the room will be priceless. These will also serve a purpose for after the party as they can be used as to decorate their bedroom.
Jake and the Neverland Pirates Balloons
Balloons are a must, they're colorful and just fun to have in any party. The Jake and the Neverland Balloon bouquet set includes officially licensed Disney Balloons, plain red and blue coloured latex balloons and ribbons to make bouquets that can be placed next to your party table.
Jake and the Neverland Pirates Party Games
Now for the activities, you want to recreate some of the fun of the television show, so you should create little puzzles for the kids to solve. Depending on the number of kids you have at the party you can separate them into teams or have them complete the tasks individually. Hand each of the kids a treasure map that leads them to a specific station. Then have the kids solve a puzzle in order to get the next map (or next piece of the map) and continue this trend until they reach the big treasure chest at the end (or save their toys or a character from the show). At each station you can make sure to give the kids a couple of chocolate coins just like getting doubloons in the show.
Another idea that I thought was great was to swab the deck. In this game the kids can have a mop or a broom, and then they have to use that to "swab" a ball around a specific course. You can have the kids work in teams and the first team to have everyone complete the course wins (if you have two courses) or you have kids play individually.
Also print off free Jake and the Neverland pirates coloring pages for kids to color in during the party or even take home.
Jake and the Neverland Pirates Pinata
Fill this up with all the loot you can think of... Gold coin candy, confetti, small toys, pinata filler packs that you can pick up from a local party supplier store and have all the little pirates pull at the strings - only one string will unlock the treausure within.
