Jamie Oliver Books and Kitchen Accessories
The Naked Chef and his kitchen accessories
I am not sure there are many people in the English speaking world who have not heard of Jamie Oliver. His books are bestsellers and his television shows rate highly around the world.
More recently he has released a range of easy to use, functional kitchen utensils that look great in any kitchen. They are also a little bit special and make perfect gifts for bridal showers, housewarmings or at any time for the cooks in your life.
Below I have highlighted a selection of my favourites, the ones that I use and would be happy to give or receive.
My Favourite Jamie Oliver Cookbooks
I have to be honest here and say I was not the biggest fan of the early Jamie books. I did not find the recipes in the Naked Chef books all that inspiring and a few I tried were not that great. Well thankfully someone bought me a copy of Jamie Does Italy and I had another go cooking with Jamie. Since then I have been converted and I think his later books are fantastic!
I love the step-by-step images in this book and that the recipes are step-by-step also. It makes a great book for new and old cooks. Lots of the recipes serve 2 which is great for singles and couples - it's easy enough to double if need be.
This is my absolute favourite Jamie Oliver book. I like the range of countries covered, Spain, Greece, Italy and Morocco to mention a few. The images are fantastic and the recipes simple but impressive. Great entertaining cookbook.

Who is Jamie Oliver
Just in case you don't really know much about him
British chef Jamie Oliver first arrived on our TV screens in 1999 at the tender age of 24 years and since then has released 14 best selling books and made a name for himself as an enthusiastic, energetic campaigner for the use of fresh and healthy ingredients. From his first TV show, The Naked Chef, in 1999 Jamie's mantra has always been simple, tasty cooking is something that anyone can master. These days he is on a new mission to get us all eating fresh, healthy food through his "Feed me Better" campaign in the UK and "Food Revolution" campaign in the USA.
