John Deere Ride-On Toys for Kids

Updated on August 3, 2014

John Deere Tractor Ride On Toys for Kids 2014

John Deere Tractor Ride On Toys are built to last just like the real tractors they build. Children, especially boys, are fascinated with earth movers and tractors. These are the biggest and the best of the John Deere ride-on toy series. Ride on Toys are an important part of children learning through play. I especially like that they aren't motorized. I really want one of these for my grandson, Julian!

John Deere is a true American success story that is 137 years old! Enjoy the John Deere trivia and the great selection of Ride-On Toys and collectibles.

Front End Loader Ride On Tractor - Every girl needs one

Girls love tractors too. I love that this picture has a girl in the driving seat!

Your little construction worker is sure to be the envy of the neighborhood on his very own chain-drive, pedal construction tractor, featuring a real heavy-duty front loader that scoops, carries and dumps. As he engages in imaginative role-play, he'll build eye-hand coordination and learn to judge distances, by operating the front loader. A built-in dashboard with gauges lets your construction worker keep an eye on the instruments while operating the pedals. The heavy-duty bicycle chain is enclosed for safe, fast and smooth pedaling. Weight capacity: 65 pounds.

Tractors in Action - Kids love watching the real thing

There are some great shows out there about tractors that you and your kids will enjoy.

It's solidly constructed, quality-built-and eye-catching, too, with its authentic John Deere color and graphics. Featuring an easy-to-pedal, high-quality chain drive and full-function steering, it adds a new dimension of fun to the Wheeled Toys category. Holds up to 80lbs. Measures approximately 38"L x 19"W x 23"H. Maximum 30 lbs.

"Nothing Runs Like a Deere"

Was a popular ad slogan for Deere snowmobiles in the 1970s

Get Your Little Farmer a John Deere Hat! - John Deere clothing...not just for truckers!

There are so many kids who ride the John Deere toys in parades. You need a hat to go to that level of dedication!

John Deere Has Survived 6 Recessions

Often they came out stronger because competitors went under during recessions. John Deere built brand loyalty by extending credit to farmers during the hard times.

More Than Just a Plow and Tractor Maker

John Deere expanded internationally in the 1960s into Europe, South America, and Asia. It also began offering John Deere credit, health care, and insurance. Not bad for a business started in a blacksmith's shop!

Where did you order your tractors? Did they stand up to the brand of quality and excellence?

One of my old high school buddies is a farmer. He bleeds John Deere green. In fact, I remember him when we were kids, playing in the backyard with his die-cast toy John Deere tractors. I'm not so certain he didn't have on of the big pedal ride-ons, too.

My father has always loved John Deere memorabilia. He got our little girl one of the medium sized ride-on toy tractors and she loved it! We just had to make sure the batteries were charged up when she got there because she immediately wanted to ride!
