Great Tits - Kiss Me - Silly February Celebration

Updated on September 21, 2014

I Love the Song of the Great Tit

Nothing makes me happier than to hear the first KISS ME from the Great Tit in February. It is my very own Silly February Celebration.

They start to sing and mate when the sun is standing higher in the sky. Even if there is still snow and cold in the air, they sing their song. I have always thought that it sings to me: KISS ME! KISS ME!

This is the "Kiss me" song

When you look for the Great Tit - remember that he has a black head. The ones with blue hats are other birds =D

If you want to see them, you need binoculars

It is a wonderful experience to have good binoculars. Bird watching is so fantastic when you are well equipped. The Great Tit is often hiding behind the leaves and branches. With binoculars, however, you can see even the color of the eye! =)

We have these in our garden too, in fact lots of varieties of tits come visit and join the robins and blackbirds in a sing-a-long.
