Lego Star Wars Advent Calendar 2013

Updated on September 6, 2013

Lego 75023 Star Wars Advent Calendar 2013

We're getting a new LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar for Christmas 2013. Lego 75023 is the model number for the third Lego Star Wars Advent Calendar in the series. After the huge success of the first and second in the series, this is sure to be a big hit. The advent calendars have gone in and out of stock so grab it early to be sure that you get a set.

And you might want to pick up the first and second Star Wars advent calendars too. Last year my boys shared the calendar and got a toy on alternate days. This worked well and kept the excitement building up throughout December.

Will there be a LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar for 2013? Yes, there will. LEGO 75023 is the 2013 LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar. It was confirmed at London Toy Fair.

This year Jango Fett is Santa.

The new calendar has been released in plenty of time for Christmas 2013.

The calendar has a good range of minifigures and mini vehicles. The mini vehicles are very creative. I'm really impressed with how the designers have managed to capture the look of so many vehicles with so few bricks and at such a small scale.

With the announcements of new Star Wars movies coming out in future the excitement around Star Wars isn't likely to die down.

We're Recycling the Container to Grow Seeds In!

We kept the plastic insert from last year's calendar because it's perfect for growing seeds in if you add some drainage holds.

We're hoping that the force will be with our seedlings ...

Hallmark Star Wars Christmas Ornaments - Collectibles for 2013

Each year Hallmark bring out a new range of collectible Star Wars ornaments. If you want to get really into the theme they're worth checking out.

Lego 9509 Star Wars Advent Calendar 2012

As we hoped, there is a new Lego Star Wars Advent Calendar for 2012.

This is LEGO 9509 the LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar for Christmas 2012. It's now available to pre-order for release on September 1st 2012.

Countdown to Christmas with 24 LEGO Star Wars toys to build during Advent.

The set includes 234 LEGO pieces and is recommended for children aged 6-14. But yes, lots of teens and adults will love this advent calendar, and why not.

I have the excuse of two young boys, but even if I didn't, I'd rather enjoy this.

2012 Toys - Picture

Here are the toys included in the LEGO 2012 Star Wars advent calendar. There are 24 toys included to build from December 1st through to December 24th 2012.

You get a good selection of minifigures, vehicles and accessories with a few festive touches like the person under Santa's hood! Note that there are more than 24 pictures so there will be multiple small items on some days.

December 2012 Update: We're really enjoyed the 2012 Star Wars Advent Calendar. I've got two boys so we're opening two windows on even numbered days so they both get to build a model every other day. It's working well.

My 6 year old can easily build the small models in the set. My four year old needs help, he can build small LEGO sets normally but you don't get detailed step by step instructions, just an overview on the back of the window. This means I get to help (Yay!)

Probably the favorite item so far is the purple Gungan shield (which came with Gungan weapons.) We have one of these already and it's really cool so we're very happy to add another to the collection.

Lego Star Wars Advent Calendar 2012 Release Date

The new LEGO Star Wars advent calendar has a release date of September 1st 2012.

Last year the Lego Star Wars advent calendar was available quite early in August. It then went in and out of stock in the run up to advent.

2011 Calendar

You can still get hold of last year's LEGO advent calendar. It's a cheaper option and still extremely cool.

LEGO® Yoda Christmas

The 2011 LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar has Yoda as Santa. This fun video shows what he got up to.

Ooh we're really excited about this! There is a Lego Star Wars Advent Calendar for Christmas 2011. We predict that this will be the most popular advent calendar in 2011. The Lego advent calendars do sell out so grab one when you see it available. If you can't get one from Amazon you can check eBay.

Lego Advent Calendars are always very popular, they are packed with great mini Lego models to build throughout December and kids get cool toys to add to their collection or bring out each Christmas.

Lego Star Wars is a hugely popular Lego range. My kids are addicted to it. They regularly remind me which Lego Star Wars sets they would like for Christmas (this started in January ...) They play with their existing sets so much that these are toys we're happy to buy for them.

A Lego Star Wars Advent Calendar is long-awaited. It's going to be very popular this Christmas.

Lego have released a promotional picture showing the very cool Lego toys that will be included in the 2011 Lego Star Wars Advent Calendar. We're rather excited about this!

As you can see, it's packed with mini models of some favorite Lego characters. There's a Clone Pilot, R2-Q5, Chewbacca is there and the piece de resistance is Yoda in a Santa Costume! Lots of of others too.

And there are loads of mini Lego vehicles to make including an X-Wing Fighter, Snowspeeder (appropriate!) and even the Millenium Falcon.

This is going to be a real collectors toy. Kids will love it, but I'm sure many of these sets will be bought by adult collectors and Star Wars fans (I know I want one!)

And you get a Christmas Tree so you can create a lovely Star Wars holiday scene.

The excitement is building for Star Wars VII in 2015. There seems like lots of scope for more Lego Star Wars Advent Calendars in the future.
