Musical Chairs ~ the Limbo ~ Dancing ~ Painting ~ Treasure Hunt

  • Musical Chairs and/or the Limbo
  • Play Little Einsteins music and have the party guests play musical chairs and the Limbo.
  • Treasure Hunt
  • Purchase inexpensive musical instruments from the dollar store or use cut outs. Hide the instruments around the party room or outside. Have the party guests 'go on a mission' to find the lost instruments.
  • Dancing!
  • The party guests can dance like June to all of their favorite Little Einstein's songs.
  • Pin Rocket to the Tree
  • Draw a tree on a large poster board similar to the tree on the show. Use images from the Internet of Leo, June, Annie and Quincy. Place them around the tree. Draw or place cutouts of musical instruments on the tree as well. Mark a spot on the tree where Rocket is supposed to land. Make cutouts of Rocket for each child. They will have to try to have Rocket land in the tree.
  • Art and Painting Time
  • Set up an arts and crafts area with paint, markers, crayons, paper, etc. for the children to get creative.
  • Music Time
  • Hand out instruments to the children and they can play, dance and sing.
  • Rocket and Jet Race
  • Make paper airplanes and color one red for Rocket and the other blue for Jet. The kids can throw the paper airplanes to see who can go further. Which one will win?

  • Make a Baton
  • Leo always has his baton with him. Have the party guests make batons of their own. Purchase wooden dowels and small styrofoam balls at the craft store. Place the dowel into the styrofoam ball. Wrap the dowel in blue pape and tape. Dip the styrofoam ball in glue. Then, dip it into silver glitter. Depending on the age of the children, they may need help with this craft. However, as always, let them do as much as they are able.
