Maleficent Staff will Complete any Evil Fairy Costume

Disney and Tim Burton got it right when they created the movie Maleficent. Casting Angelina Jolie as the evil fairy Maleficent was brilliant and so was introducing the audience to a brand new side of this Disney villain. As a result of the popularity of the movie, Maleficent costumes have begun flying off the shelves all over the country and the world. In addition to the sexy villain costumes and tell-tale evil fairy horns, so is the Maleficent staff.

A Maleficent Costume is Not Complete without the Glowing Top

One of the best ways to complete a Maleficent costume is to add a staff. I like the staff above because it gives the appearance of a glowing light and comes complete with a black crow. If you aren't familiar with the movie, you may not know that the black crow is Maleficent's right-hand man in the film. The crow does Maleficent's beckoning including spying on Aurora and the happenings at the castle. It is Maleficent's crow that lets the evil fairy know when Aurora is born and when the christening will take place. While Maleficent's costume changed a bit for the live action movie, the maligned godmother has always had a staff, even in the original Sleeping Beauty.

As with any Disney villain costume, the great thing about this outfit is the fact that you have a ton of choices. My favorite Maleficent staff comes with the black crow on top, that is best known from the animated film Sleeping Beauty, but there are other options as well. In fact, you can browse a variety of different options to get the precise look you are looking for to complete your Maleficent Halloween costume.
