Merry Christmas Jesus!

Come December 25, we will hear people greeting one another a Merry Christmas!

Christmas is a worldwide celebration. It is a Christian festivity commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ. Although it is brought about by religious beliefs and traditions, some non-Christians have accepted and adapted with the celebration. This is the beauty of Christmas. People all around the world participate and become one during the Christmas season.

I'm always excited when Christmas day approaches because people are happier, lighter, and high in spirit. This season just brings the goodness in all of us.

Baby in the Manger

This is the primary fixture that you will see inside or outside homes and offices. The baby Jesus in the manger carries great meaning. Jesus is the son of God brought to earth to save mankind. Being the son of God, he must have been bear in a beautiful and grand place rather he was born in an animal shelter and laid on a manger. The baby in the manger is a reminder to all people that the son of God came to the earth meekly because his purpose is not be served but to serve.

The Nativity

The Birth of Jesus. They were in Bethlehem when the time came for her to have her child, and she gave birth to a son, her first-born. She wrapped him in swaddling clothes and laid him in the manger, because there was no place for them in the living room.

Luke 2: 6-7

------------------------------------------------------------------

This is the entire scene that took place during Jesus' birth. The nativity includes Jesus in the manger, Mary (Jesus' mother), Joseph (Mary's husband), animals, animal stall, 3 magi with their gifts, and the star shining brightly over the stall.

The Star

The Christmas star is the guiding light. It directed the shepherds and magi into the stable where Jesus was born and laid. This is the reason why a star is placed upon the Christmas tree. It serves as a reminder that the son of God, Jesus, has come to the earth to save us.

The Christmas Angel

The Shepherds and the Angels. There were shepherds camping in the countryside, taking turns to watch their flocks by night. Suddenly an angel of the Lord appeared to them, with the Glory of Lord shining around them.

As they were terrified, the angel said to them, "Don't be afraid; I am here to give you good news, great joy for all the people. Today a Savior has been born to you in David's town; he is the Messiah and the Lord. Let this be a sign to you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger."

Luke 2: 8-12

The Three Kings (The Three Wise Men)

Wise Men from the East. After the meeting with the king, they set out. The star that they had seen in the East went ahead of them and stopped over the place where the child was. The wise men were overjoyed on seeing the star again. They went into the house and when they saw the child with Mary his mother, they knelt and worshiped him. They opened their bags and offered him their gifts of gold, incense, and myrrh.

Matthew 2: 9-11

Merry Christmas to You!!!
