Miley Cyrus VMA Teddy Bear Costume, We Can't Stop Costume Robin Thicke VMA 2013 Halloween Ideas
Get ready to shock!
Have you seen this year's VMA's? Of course you did and I bet one of the most memorable scenes was Miley Cirus performing her We Can't Stop mashed up with Robin Thicke's Blurred Lines & Give it 2 U... Loved it or hated it, I think this makes a perfect couples costume for this year!
I've taken a closer look at the dresses seen in Miley's We Can't Stop and picked out clothes which will help you shine as her and added something that will work for Robert Thicke's costume if you wan't to go as a VMA version ;)

Miley Cyrus & Robin Thicke VMA 2013 - A great video clip from the audience
This video shows even more than the other ones. Worth a watch to get you into the Halloweeny mood (or for your annoyance or laughter).
Personally I think Robin did a great job as for Miley, well she's memorable that's for sure and in the show business they say there's no such thing as bad publicity. Twerking was an unexpected move and I personally could do without constant crotch grabbing. Really. But what the hell, she has a lot of confidence and if she's OK with it so am I and if that's the message she's trying to send it's a good one (packed in a strange packing).
All in all it's the performance was very interesting and is without a doubt one of the top things that happened this year.
Miley Cyrus & Robin Thicke VMA Halloween Costume Ideas - Dress up and shock!
I think the two would make a great Halloween costume for couples! If you add the dancers (you know the creepy teddy bear ones) it would also make one fine group costume!
So what was the first think that came to your mind when you saw Thickle at VMA (or in Give it 2 U) wearing that striped suit? Beetlejuice! I think the striped suit actually looks quite well on Robin, well he sure does have the figure to pull out any suit, but I can't imagine this to become a global trend (although fashion trends can always surprise you). As you don't normally see a lot of mens striped suits it's getting a regular suit is out of question so you'll have to do with this Bettlejuice costume (suit only, mask isn't included). Perfect for the occasion and on the cheap side!
This one is for the brave (well you could always wear a skin toned bodysuit under it). Peach bullet bra is bound to make heads turn.
White hand with red fingernails! Let's get twerking and do other naughties!
Make your own silver teddy dress
Now that's a unique look!
If you don't feel like jumping around in a beige bra and panties and want to be a bit more decent you can take advantage of the fact Miley has worn two outfits on her performance.
Here's how I would make it! First you will need a silver body or swimsuit (you can wear leggings underneath!) and some grey fleece which I would either sew on the swimsuit or just glue it on with a glue gun (faster and way easier). Next you will need some fabric colors, not the ones you put in the washing machine but the ones you can dip your brush in and draw with them - they are really easy to use and are very durable (won't fade). Each brand has it's own instructions so do check with the instructions on the paint you will be getting but usually it goes something like this - draw what you want, let dry for 24 hours, iron for about 5 minutes to make it machine washable. Back to the costume, when you have the colors, draw on the teddy bear design and you have your outfit (well minus the coolish looking hair-do).

Miley Cyrus We Can't Stop Official Video - La da di da di we like to party...
Before I go to the dresses I should probably say a few things about this music video, I've seen a lot of negative comments about this video and honestly the first time I saw it I didn't like it either... It's a bit too much of, well everything... After a few views I still think it's too much but it all makes sense and if you give the video a chance and listen to the lyrics everything actually fits and the video is kind of cool. Still a bit too sexual for my taste though ;)
We Can't Stop Outfits! - All white look
The video starts with her wearing all white (well and some golden accessories). Quite innocent looking wouldn't you agree? OK not really. I love her lipstick and I think it really suits her. Love the haircut too, I never could rock short hair doo's.
If you don't want to mess with your hair I think this wig will do a good job. Not exactly as Mileys but it's as close as you can get at the moment. I don't doubt the wigging (is it really called that way?) industry will be releasing a Miley like wig in the near future but for now this will do.
White exercise tank. Perfect for this look and it will benefit you in the future. Work that body ;)
Simple yet elegant white leggings will do the trick.
One of the things that caught my attention (besides that great lipstick) was the old glitter nail polish! I'm adding it to my collection are you?
At first I couldn't figure out what was that thing she put's in her mouth in the beginning of the video... Bracelets? Some weird toy I am not familiar with?n Then it hit me! Gold removable teeth! She doesn't have the whole set, I think only two are golden. I couldn't find one that would have only two but I think this bottom row teeth will be just fine.
Miley with giant teddy bear - my favourite look - Well most memorable
I thin this look is the best pick if you're want to be like Miley for Halloween.
Pink cat eye sunglasses are a part of the look. Must have them!
West Coast tee! The writing is the same and the scissors will make sure the tailoring is the same too. Cut the tee to the desired lenght.
There are ton's of giant teddy plushes available online, I couldn't find the exact one and grey ones are a bit scarce (or too small) so I've decided to go with this one. You can always get creative and spray paint it with fabric spray. You will need to sew on some straps to make a back-pack like teddy.
Robin Thicke Give it 2 U Official Video
Catchy tune and I do love how each of the performing dancers and artists got their credit.
