It's all I can do, when out shopping, to walk past a scarf display. Colors and anticipation of the feel of the fabrics attract me in closer, and once I've touched a scarf I've surely morphed into a Buyer without delay!
Scarf Fanciers appreciate soft, loose woven sheers, and lightweight barely colored sarongs, contrasted with the substantial heft of rayon in subtle or vibrant hues.
It wasn't until I immersed myself into graduate studies in art that I felt comfortable parting with the aesthetics gifted me by my mother and her mother, my teachers and aunties.
Combining a fine green such as the one shown here with a chocolate brown can be as thrilling as biting into the most flavorful Maine lobster. And it's a lot more fun that hauling in those pesky traps!
