My Christmas Design
Christmas Time Design
One of my Christmas designs for this year is of a cute snowman. I made him with a transparent background so I would be able to add him to t shirts and other apparel. I am not a fan of shirts and hats that have a square solid background around the center design. I think it is a tacky look. I put this great little man made of snow on dozens of quality items that are found on the POD (print on demand) sites I use on line. It is always fun to build a snowman of actual snow but when one does not have any snow there has to be another way to do it. :)
The photo is of an award but it makes a beautiful Christmas decoration. I have plaques and figurines of all sizes and shapes around the house and this is one of them.
Snowman T Shirts
When I put this snowman on a dark t-shirt the white color that is snow stays sharp. On a light t-shit the white of his body come out the same color as the shirt. The first is one of the dark tees and below that is the light shirt. If you want a white shirt you must go with the light color. I accented his color just enough so that the the design does not get lost on a white background. Christmas things that are white are just as festive as the traditional red or green.
There are many different styles to consider when adding images. This design looks great on them all. Men, women, kids and even babies.
An additional piece of decor is never overdoing it at Christmas time. The season was meant for an abundance of fun and seasonal items being spread out all over the house. Here are a few cute things to add.
This figurine is so very cute with Winnie and Tigger hugging the snowman with the big top hat. It is always great to have a piece of Christmas that represents every part of the holiday. You never get too old to love a snowman and even though I never had kids I love having Winnie and especially his pal Tigger around. I have a small Hallmark Christmas dish with these two on it. This figurine is meticuously hand crafted. It is artist designed and globally recognized for quality
This reminds me of a hobo. The hobo snowman riding the rails to where the snow is before he melts. Along the little train cart it reads "Snowman in a frosty breeze". I was not aware of this set of figurines by Heartwood Creek Express. It is the third in the series Snowman Christmas which is a collection of six. It is hand painted with great care and I want the whole set.
I love lights and being able to have a little bit of a glow anywhere I want is great. Beautiful sparkling visions of a winter wonderland in this MARKET FIRST Thomas Kinkade collectible snowman figurine made from authentic cut crystal. It is like a glowing snowglobe and still is a snowman. There is an illuminated village and animated train. It is a Masterpiece Edition and is available from The Bradford Editions
Precious multi-faceted crystal is handcrafted so the cheerful snowman really sparkles.A three-dimensional Thomas Kinkade village is tucked inside os the crystals outer shell giving a joyful view from every angle. It has a pond, four buildings, a bridge and 10 villagers
How to Draw a Snowman
From using a pencil and paper to using adobe photoshop there are tutorials on video. Follow step by step instructions on drawing your very own man of snow.
This lens will be out of commission after the snow melts here in Pennsylvania. That could be as long as April. No need to draw a snowman this year 2014 because you can go outside anytime and build one.
Another great item that this snowman looks good on are the Zazzle necklaces. These come in silver and gold. Square and round. I put the design on some of the jewelry available at Cafepress and in my opinion it is much nicer.
