The Best Gift Is Memories For Anyone You Love!
The Best Gift For Anyone Is Shared Memories & Love. Let's Make A Memory Notebook!
Behind these windows are the rooms where I grew up in a little Kansas town. I'm sitting here with a thousand images flashing through my head of so many cherished memories, just from looking at this one little innocuous picture! Life is all about building memories with the people and places we love!
One year for Christmas, I had two teenagers and they wanted the usual things... I believe back then it was iPods and DVD players! That's fine and I loved getting them techie gifts, but I wanted something special! I did a very simple thing - I went through all their photos from growing up, and sorted the duplicates for each kid. Then I put them in a notebook and wrote my iittle comments in the margins. They weren't even "real" scrapbooks.
Nowadays there are so many amazing scrapbooking options out there - you can go crazy with it, and I'd love to someday! But if you don't have the time or the resources, don't be afraid to keep it really simple - a cute notebook filled with paper, some colored pens, and photos you have duplicates of that include the person. I do recommend using the ready-made photo adhesive stickers, just because it's so darned easy!

Do You Think A Memory Book Is A Good Christmas Gift?
Here Is A Memory Book I Did For Myself - It's A Treasure... To Me!
I made this album several years ago. I drew the art on the cover with scrapbook pens! I made a similar one for my sister. We were separated growing up because I was adopted, and when we reunited some 30 years later, there was a lot of catching up to do! So I made her a notebook of pictures of me throughout my whole life. She loved it.
Remember... Keep It Simple!
Think of great times you've had with this person. Did you see a great movie? Add the stub to a page and talk about it! Anything that triggers a great memory is a good idea to add.
