Who brought these Easter Baskets?!

Years ago, before hubby and I had children we used to have fun.

Did I say that out loud? lol

Hubby and I spent time thinking of others to enjoy having fun with, friends, family, church folks and the less fortunate, and the latter was so much more fun!

Now, that's what I meant to say.

Here's where I take you on an adventure that you will never forget!

You're going to make Mystery Easter Baskets to give to a family or child that might not be able to enjoy Easter because they aren't going to know who gave it to them. It will remain a mystery.

YOU WILL NEED:

Printer

Scissors

Tape

Easter Baskets, filled with goodies for kids

A spirit of adventure!

FUN face !

A school counselor, social worker or someone that can give you a family name.

*Copy a bunny from one of the many freebies online.

*Print and cut out. (Find some feet to print out also, you'll be making bunny paths... )

*Add to your Easter Basket, and have them 'hopping' up the walkway, taped on the door, car garage doors......anywhere

you think those bunnies need to go to bring excitement to the kids.

*Go to the home of those who might never get an Easter Basket.

Yep, that might mean going to neighborhoods you might not visit on a regular basis...... keep reading, don't let this scare you. (a counselor, teacher, church or someone of this nature might be able to give you the names of a family or child that you can bless with Easter baskets)

* Take the basket/s to the family just a little before the regular schedule at their house. So if they get up to go to church, you might want to swing them by a couple hours early. (don't let them see you though, it's a surprise remember?)

1) Pick out an Easter Basket or supplies below: (a small percentage goes back into what we do in our area)

2) Add your bunny/s

3) Put things where they go, QUIETLY, (put the baskets up so ants don't get into them)

4) Knock on the door and RUN!

5) Hide and watch.

6) ENJOY!

Share YOUR Mystery Baskets Experience. Videos, Photos, Story.

I love Candy Corn!

There are so many fun things you can do with these.

One of my favorite is to make carrots to put in the baskets: take orange construction paper, or the wrap used over baskets (use orange for this)

Make it into a cylinder, close off the top and add some green Easter grass.

I also love adding all this into a candy bowl:

(any time of year)

Add some cashews, peanuts, m&m's and pretzels in a large bowl and mix.

You won't be able to stand the sugar buzz! This stuff is delicious.

Here are more ideas than any of us should ever try in our lifetime. lol

You can copy and paste the link below or also find it in the links above. Just look for candy corn.

Who had These eggs in their basket?

You know, there are just some things you'll always remember.

Family traditions, arguments, holidays, closeness and all the mistakes we make. Let's go back to family traditions, shall we?

Growing up holidays were always a source of enjoyment, and frustration: I was never good at cooking, or setting up the holiday ornaments, table, decorations or whatever term you choose to call it. It's just never been my thing. So many times, that became a source of frustration, drowning out the excitement of the holiday; though there are many more frustrations, I'll name that one.

Now the one thing every kid enjoys and looks forward to when it comes to holidays and family traditions is the food.

We did on occasion over the years get the cadbury eggs in our baskets and we loved the hard crunchy outside with delicious chocolate inside. These little candy treats were a treasure because we got enough to taste them but not enough to endulge.

When I was looking up some fun things to do with these little eggs, I had no idea how many recipes and ideas I'd find.

Can you find an idea to incorporate into your Mystery Basket?

Please share how you used the eggs in your adventure.
