These flat, paper thin cards are made from birch wood and come with corresponding color envelope. I love that they are made in the USA from sustainably-harvested wood. The back of the card is blank and the manufacturer recommends using colored pencils to write your Halloween message. Let me point out that the product is 100% biodegradable and recyclable. I think that I would be hard pressed to throw away one of the Halloween greeting cards made by Night Owl Paper Goods if I received one. I think the wooden card would make a terrific bookmark for a Halloween themed book. The wooden cards are thin could mark my place without breaking the spine of my precious book.
