Pan Am Flight Attendant Costumes: Everything You Need

Updated on September 15, 2015

A Pan Am Flight Attendant Costume is a Unique Costume This Year!

New options just added! Pan Am Flight Attendant Costume, cleared for take-off! Warning: If you're not looking for a fun, sultry outfit this year, then these options are not for you! If you are, then read on. This makes a great choice for Halloween, or any time of year.

There are many female Halloween choices out there, but these are unique and one of the best ideas because you just don't see it very often. I love when people have creative options and stand out and this definitely fits the bill!

Why Do You Need a Pan Am Costume?

This was a very popular option last year and it rotating in and out of stock several times. It's back for this year and it's less expensive! All you need to add are the gloves to finish this outfit off. I love that this choice has a hat that's correct for the time period. It's definitely one of my favorites since it's so realistic-looking (which you can't say for many Halloween options, right?).

It costs a bit more, but the fabric is heavier -- this is a quality made-in-the-U.S.A. costume that will last.

I wore this a few years ago for my first Halloween as a Mom -- my son was a mini-pilot. :) Everyone loved it!

Authentic & Affordable

Looking for the complete package this year? Check out this unique option--it looks almost exactly like the costumes that were on the show and comes complete with the dress, necktie, hat...AND even the pins and bag!

I like this one a lot because it's both real-looking and inexpensive -- a great choice if you want a realistic option that doesn't break the bank.

For heels, I would go with white versus blue. I think finding a blue color this vibrant would be a little hard to match, and I think white would really help to kick off the nice, contrasting trim that this clothing has. For me, it's white all the way!

How to Make a Pan Am Flight Attendant Hat - It's pretty easy

This helpful video shows you how to create an authentic hat. Feel free to substitute colors and embellishments to match your own costume.

I think this piece is one of the most important parts of the ensemble - the look and shape of it really help to set it apart in terms of the time period. If there's one add-on your choose for your costume, let this be it.

Pan Am Costume in Blue/White

This was the #1 best-selling Halloween flight attendant outfit from last year, so we'll see if it lasts long this year. If you click on the item, you'll also see a back shot--so helpful! This costume includes the dress, scarf, hat and even the purse.

This one is just all-around cute, and the bag really helps to make this a complete selection. I think I especially like that both the purse and the hat are super-petite and dainty.

Gorgeous Blue Pan Am Costume!

This is a fun, sassy one--I love all the little extras that come with it. It certainly makes for a very complete stewardess costume. You *must* add a pair of white heels to round out this look (and it helps to keep it classy!).

This blue is nice and rich and the material helps to set off the color even more.

This costume is on fire!

Va Va Voom Stewardess Costume!

This is "muy caliente" in fiery, "look at me" red! This stunning outfit comes includes the dress, gloves and hat. Just add a pair of bright red high heels or boots to finish it off. If you want "all eyes on you", then this is the one.

A pair of red stilettos might be cute with this, or you could even do white to help offset the stripe on the dress. No matter which one you choose this Pan Am costume would be an awesome choice.

Two Color Options

This Pan Am costume comes with the dress, shrug, nametag and the hat. This is a little less nice and a bit more naughty--what's wrong with adding some edge? This would be great for an adult party.

If you go with the black option, you must add a pair of fishnet stockings and high-heeled boots to complete the look by giving it just the right finishing touches.

This one might be kind of cool if you were going as a couple with a pilot -- it would be a neat juxtaposition if the pilot was dressesd in all white to offset you in all black. Or, a navy pilot costume to pair with the white women's option.

What is a Pan Am Flight Attendant Costume's Best Feature?

A great option for the girly-girl!

Pink & Pretty

This is short, sweet, and retro with a twist: instead of blue, this outfit gets a makeover in pink. It comes complete with the dress, belt, hat and even the gloves. Add a pair of white heels or go-go boots--and don't forget the pin! This is prefect for a girly-girl!

My favorite part is the low-slung belt--I think it's very slimming!

What's Your Choice?

Will you be dressing up as this for Halloween? Do you think this is a fun and slightly-different choice? This would be great for parties or even standard trick-or-treating as you will definitely stand out in a crowd!

What do you think? - Buh-bye, buh-bye, buh-bye now, buh-bye!

Calling all Umi moms! Your little ones will love these uzoomimi videos and you'll love the price! They are made just to watch on your PC so don't plan on burning them to a DVD or anything. (they have great dvd's if you want to buy those separately). We bought this episode when we were in a bedtime crunch and my little one was restless. She was asleep mid way through the 2nd time around. She has learned so much from Team Umizoomi. They are very educational and I have to admit I actually enjoy them too MIGHTY MATH POWER!!!

Angry Birds inspired comstues and merchandises will definitely be a hot commodity this coming Halloween. Unfortunately, the comstues being sold online are very low in quality. So I suggest that if you want an Angry Birds for your costume, try to make it yourself and put some innovations like placing horns or pumpkin hat.
