Patriotic Jewelry | Stars And Stripes Bling
Red White and Blue Jewelry for Him and Her
America has a lot of holidays where you will see people wearing patriotic jewelry and novelty items. Wearing the red white and blue lets people show support for their country but is also a symbol of freedom and unity.
Compared to many other countries, USA is a young nation. Constituted as recently as 1776 it has come to be one of the most influential countries, and the US flag is known by virtually everyone on the planet.
The Stars and Stripes is not only the flag of the nation but it is also something of a symbol of patriotism, even to many foreigners.
Red White and Blue Necklaces
Pendants and necklaces are my favorite because they are easy to wear with any outfit. If you want to make a statement, a necklace is hard to miss.

Men's Patriotic Bling
This is just a small selection of patriotic jewelry that is available for men. My personal favorite is the watch. There are many more items available, specially related to honoring different armed forces. Many patriotic accessories feature the American flag in some way, but the eagle also has a strong position symbolizing pride and freedom, specially in men's jewelry.
When To Wear Patriotic Jewelry?
I'm sure everyone will agree that you can wear patriotic jewelry whenever you like. There are a couple of official holidays though where you will see the Red White and Blue represented on everything from balloons to clothes to yard decorations, and of course jewelry.
These are the main patriotic holidays in USA:
Martin Luther King Jr. Day - January 15
Washington's Birthday - February, third Monday
Memorial Day - May, last Monday
Flag Day - June 14
Independence Day - 4th of July
Constitution Day - September 17
Election Day - November, first Monday
Veteran's Day - November 11
Bill of Rights - December 15
Although currently not a federal holiday 9/11, or Patriot Day, is also a time when many Americans will choose to wear patriotic jewelry and tokens.
American Flag Facts
The flag has 13 stripes which symbolize the original British colonies.
The blue rectangle and stars, the Union, represents 50 states.
The current design was suggested through a school project by 17 year old Robert G. Heft.
If you have flag stickers on the sides of your car, the Union (blue rectangle) should face forward on both sides (you need 1 reversed sticker)
