Pink Christmas Decorations
This Christmas, Think Pink!
If you're looking to spruce up your house with pink Christmas decorations this holiday season, you've come to the right place.
My family's pink Christmas traditions started with a little pink tree and every year since, we've added something to the pink décor. Now we have a pink wreath on our front door and pink beaded garland draped over our doorways and windows. We have pink lights draped throughout the house and we have pink snowflakes and icicle ornaments hanging from the ceiling. The only thing I'm missing is a pink stocking.
Break those old Christmas traditions of a red and green Christmas. This Christmas, think pink!
Pink Christmas Trees
I can still remember my first pink Christmas tree. We were staying in a camper and I didn't think we had room for a tree. But then, two weeks before Christmas, my husband surprised me with a 4 foot tall pink tree. That first year, it stood bare (except for the pre-lit white lights it came with) because we couldn't find any pink ornaments or garland. But the next year we found bright pink lights and tiny pink ornaments. In lieu of garland, we draped it with sheer pink ribbon. By the time we were done, it was the most beautiful tree I ever saw.
After a few years, the little pink tree started looking a little ragged. So we upgraded to a larger pink tree with bigger ornaments and actual pink garland. But I just can't bring myself to throw that first one away. We've moved 4 times and traveled over 2000 miles and even when we're deciding what we have room for and what we need to throw out, the little pink tree always makes the cut.

Tabletop Pink Christmas Trees
There are many reasons to get a tabletop pink Christmas tree. If your daughter wants her own special pink Christmas tree, a tabletop tree would fit right in her room and make her feel like a princess. Or perhaps you're in the same situation my husband and I used to be in. If you live in a camper or a small apartment, a tabletop tree will let you have your pink Christmas without taking up too much room. Some people, like my Grandma, want to decorate for Christmas, but they don't have the energy to drag out a big tree, unpack all the ornaments, untangle the lights and then work for hours to make it look good. For them, a tabletop Christmas tree is perfect, especially one that's pre-lit and comes with ornaments.
And for couples who can't agree, if he wants a traditional Christmas and she wants a sparkly pink Christmas, a tabletop pink tree can be a nice compromise.

Full Size Pink Christmas Trees
In my house, we have two Christmas trees. My husband gets his real 6 foot Christmas tree covered in silver and blue ornaments and Garland. And I have my 6 foot pink Christmas tree covered in pink ornaments and pink beaded garland. We don't always have room to put them both up, but when we do, it looks magnificent! Last year we stood them side by side and everyone who saw them commented on how great they look.
This gorgeous 10 foot tree has branches, lights and wire, all in the same designer shade of pink. 2980 branch tips. 1150 pink mini lights. Includes free metal stand and extension cord.
This whimsically wavy tree has 608 branch tips with 70 clear miniature lights. The 30" matching pink cord should be plenty long enough to reach an outlet. It also comes with a matching pink stand.
This 6.5' tree features 1,000 tapered branch tips with 450 pink and white miniature lights. It also includes a free white metal tree stand.
Pink Christmas Wreaths
Wreaths are a nice way to greet your visitors during the Christmas season. And a pink Christmas wreath hung outside on your front door is a simple way to prepare your guests for the pink Christmas decorations they're about to see in your house! This year we have a balcony and I plan to hang two pink wreaths on the front of it. What a festive way to bring holiday cheer to my neighbors!

Unlit Pink Wreaths
An unlit pink wreath can be hung indoors or out, but it won't be seen outside at night. While that may make them seem inferior to pre-lit wreaths, unlit ones have their strong points. Pink unlit wreaths can be hung anywhere without worrying about how close it is to an outlet. Hang it from a tree, a roof, a fence post or anywhere else out in the open. You don't have to unplug or turn off the lights of an unlit wreath before you go to bed at night. And you don't have to worry about your wreath being a fire hazard (although most aren't anyways).
This huge wreath sports 840 wide cut 3mm branch tips to add dimension and thickness. The tips are made of purple and pink holographic tinsel to make it all sparkly and pretty!
Three different sizes of shatterproof ornaments in many different shades of pink and silver. Hangs flat against surface.
This wreath features 300 tips on a heavy duty frame. This color is the same designer pink that matches some of the trees found above.
This light pink wreath is the perfect basic wreath for your door or wall. It has 110 tips on a pvc and metal frame.
Pre-lit Pink Wreaths
Pre-lit pink wreaths bring joy to your neighbors day and night. During the day, they look just like any other wreath, but at night they shine their pink lights proudly. With some, you can plug them into each other and have a whole line of lit wreaths (plus that means only the first one has to be near an outlet).
I am totally in love with this wreath. It features 220 orchid colored tips with 70 miniature clear lights. The 5 foot cord means it doesn't need to be hung right next to an outlet and the double ring frame makes it sturdy and durable.
This wreath is hot, hot, hot and pink, pink, pink. With 260 pink branch tips, pink flocking, pink wire and 100 pink bulbs, it's pretty much pinkapalooza!
Here's another pink on pink. 760 designer color branch tips are prelit with 200 miniature pink lights.
This huge wreath boasts 960 tips and the perfect mix of 200 clear and pink mini lights.
Pink Christmas Lights
You don't need a pink Christmas tree and pink wreaths to have a pink Christmas. All you need are some pink Christmas lights! Whether your tree is fake or real, pink light can make it look pretty and feminine. You could also use pink lights to decorate the outside of your house. I've yet to see an entire house decorated in pink, but I look forward to the day it happens!
Pink Christmas Lights
Before choosing your pink lights, make sure you know what you'll be using them for. Tabletop Christmas trees will only need a single small string of lights, while full size lights will need a couple strings. For bushes, net lighting is the quickest and easiest to use. Rope lights look great wrapped around a porch railing. And icicle lights will make your house look like it's drizzled in pink ice!
When it comes to Christmas lights, I definitely recommend LED's. Yes, they're a bit more expensive, but they last longer and they use up to 90% less energy (so your electric bill will thank you. This set is made to look like the traditional Christmas lights.
This has 50 wide angle, flat faced bulbs spread out on a 25.5' green wire. It also has end to end connectors so you can connect many strands together.
18' of clear tubing with a pink LED bulb every 2". Has a 12" cord and end connectors so you can connect multiple light strands together. This includes all the mounting hardware too.
Each 2'X8' net features 150 pink LED bulbs spread out to light up a total of 16 square feet. These are perfect for wrapping around trees and poles or for spreading over bushes.
Like I said before, you don't need actual garland in order to have pink garland. We've used many things in place of real garland. Ribbon is the best because you can buy it in different shades to compliment your tree. Plus you can buy it in different widths and different types of fabrics. The first year we used ribbon, I used thin satin strips for the main garland and I accented it with thicker wisps of sheer ribbon. Mardi gras necklace beads also work great, although you'll need a lot of them. Just cut each necklace to make a single cord of beads. Then you can either drape them individually or you can twist the ends together to make a long strand of beaded garland. In a pinch, you can always use pink shoelaces!
This garland features a mix of 220 pink and white tips. It's attached to bendable wire so you can easily shape it to your needs and it has a hook on each end so you can hang it with ease.
So, you remember that designer pink color I've mentioned throughout the page? Yep. You guessed it. This is that same designer pink that matched the tree and wreath above. It has 220 tips with 70 pink lights.
Christmas garland doesn't have to be branch like. I like to use beaded garland draped over my doorways and window frames. And if I'm feeling frisky, I'll use it on my tree.

Pink Christmas Ornaments
Choosing Christmas ornaments is a pleasure I look forward to every single year. Because I like to use a variety of pink ornaments, I use varying shades of pink ones in many different sizes. I still have the little pink ornaments I bought for our little pink tree, so I use them on the big tree. I also have large ball ornaments with sparkly silver designs on them. But I think my favorites are the single pink ornaments.
Pink Ball Ornaments
Pink ball ornaments are the base decoration of most pink trees. Choose some large, some small. Make some of them shiny and some matte. Vary the colors between hot pink and light bubblegum pink. And to give your tree a little more depth and character, try adding some white or silver colored ball ornaments.

More Pink Christmas Ornaments
Each year I buy 2 single ornaments to show our experiences that year. One I put on my husbands tree and the other gets hung on mine. I look forward to this tradition all year and when the time finally comes, I take my time and choose wisely. Last year we spent most of the year renovating my Dads house, so when the time came, I chose a tiny hammer ornament for my husbands tree. Last year was also the first year I made a decent amount of money through my writing. So I chose a pink pen ornament for my pink tree.
Also, try not to limit ornaments to just tree decorations. I hang little pink snowflakes and little pink icicles from the ceiling to create a pink winter wonderland. I hang drop ornaments on the mantle to create an icicle effect. And I use miniature ball ornaments to spruce up plain wreaths.
This ornament features a dazzling sparkly combination of ribbon like twists and dangling balls.

Last year was the first year I used these clip on ornaments and I have to say, I absolutely love them. Being able to clip them right to the branches instead of hanging them from a string really me a lot more control.

Pink Christmas Stockings
& Tree Skirts
The only thing missing from my pink Christmas celebration is a pink stocking. Every year I tell myself I'm going to get one and every year I hang up the stocking I've used since I was a kid and I just can't bring myself to replace it. If it ever falls apart, I can't say I'll be too disappointed to be able to replace it with one of these pink Christmas stockings.

Pink Christmas Tree Skirts
Pink trees are readily available, but pink tree skirts are a whole other story. If you're lucky enough to find one you like, don't hesitate. I was able to purchase one for my little pink tree but I've yet to find one I like for my big tree.

Pink Christmas Gift
My husband knows better than to use anything but pink wrapping paper for my presents. And I'm not just talking about Christmas. My birthday and Anniversary presents are wrapped in pink too! And because he's a good husband, he also adds pretty ribbons and bows.
Pink Wrapping Paper
Pink wrapping paper can be used year round for all sorts of gifts. When I wrap Christmas or Birthday gifts for my little girls, I always use pink wrapping paper. Pink also works especially great for Princess or Minnie Mouse themed birthday parties.

Pink Ribbons and Bows
A present just isn't a present unless it's prettied up with ribbons and bows. Even if I'm not wrapping pink presents, I make sure to include ribbons and bows.
First I pick two colors of ribbon and a bow that compliment the wrapping paper. I cut the ribbon into strips 12" to 18" long. I take 2 or 3 pieces and attach them to the present with a piece of tape in the middle. I top it with a bow before curling because it's hard to attach the bow when the ribbons already curled. Then I use a pair of scissors to curl the ribbon.

Attack 4 or 6 strands to your present using tape. Top with a bow. Then curl.
These arrive flat. Just pull the string to make a bow. Each bow is 5" and has 20 loops.
