Poison Apple Halloween Party
Have an apple, Dearie?
Or at least have a scary apple Halloween Party - scary, but not too scary. Apples at Halloween parties are just as traditional as pumpkins. Have an old-fashioned apple bobbing game, either wet or dry. Have plenty of luscious red, green and gold apples around to snack on. Make spiced apple cider, warm or cold. Apple doughnuts, candied apples, apple pie, cake - there's all kinds of apple recipes that you could make. Just balance it out with some protein and your menu's complete.

Serving Sliced Apples as a Main Dish
Slice up a variety of colorful apples. Keep in ice water with a little lemon juice until ready to serve to prevent them from turning brown. Provide a variety of dips (peanut butter, caramel, chocolate) and sliced or cubed cheeses to balance this "main dish" with protein. In addition, you can provide raisins, coconut sprinkles and chopped nuts to sprinkle on. Add some carrot and celery sticks and what more could you want?
