Pumpkin Bowls and Other Dinnerware
Decorating Your Table with Everything Pumpkin!
To many, nothing speaks of Halloween and Autumn like pumpkin...but you can have your dinnerware any time of the year. It will never be out of season!
In new Zealand Halloween is actually in spring so while we have pumpkins they are not plentiful! Here's a chance for all those whose Halloween is in spring to have pumpkin on your table!
Pumpkin dinnerware is actually evergreen as it never goes out of season...it looks good any time of year!
Pumpkins Out of Season?
As I mentioned before in New Zealand we are experiencing our spring season and pumpkins are not available in quantity. And certainly nothing like the sizes I see used in the USA! Heaven knows how you would carve these little pumpkins...they are so hard skinned! So hard skinned in fact that we often cook the pumpkin with the skin on!
New Zealand pumpkins have a grey skin rather than the orange we see so plentiful in the States. This picture is one I took while preparing for a recipe 'Swirled Chocolate-Pumpkin Brownies' which can be found on my Halloween Book Review lens.
The solution for a pumpkin Halloween? Beautiful dinnerware, that's what!

A hand painted ceramic piece which also has a ladle which is sold separately.
Why not use it as a cookie jar when you are not using it as a soup tureen? Just an idea! I'm all for multi purpose...
It is also microwave and dishwasher safe.
This hand painted water jug would grace any table. It has been designed by Christian artists Carla Grogan. Here Carla is inspired by the autumn harvest in depicting a pumpkin and quoting from Psalm 92.1...Share the harvest bounty with your guests.

The design was developed with consultation of world renown chef Paul Bocuse. The cookware is suited to most cooking surfaces, including induction and the knobs are heat resistant for use in the oven.
Although hand washing is recommended I have been known to stack my cookware in the dishwasher! It is suited to induction cooking and is oven safe.
These famous cast iron pots are made in France.
Do you like to follow your dinner with tea or coffee or something else?
This cute little set will start your evening off with style and in keeping to the theme of the evening. While it is for a dip you could add it to the dining table with a prepared dressing, mustard or sauce....something a bit thicker than the usual dressing mind you otherwise the squirrel won't hold the contents from bowl to plate!
