The Best Pumpkin Patches in Phoenix, Arizona
Find the Best Pumpkin Patches in Phoenix, Arizona
After moving to the Phoenix area of Arizona to be close to my grandsons, I needed to find the best pumpkin patches to take them to. I love going to the pumpkin patch and any fall festivals that I can find. As you can tell, this is my favorite season and time of the year. The weather is just perfect for taking a trip to the pumpkin patch.
Oh, and my birthday falls just before Halloween. I make it a yearly tradition to carve our pumpkin on Halloween. I have been doing this since I was 16 years old. I have not missed a year yet!
In Phoenix, Arizona there are many pumpkin patches in the area. Many are complete with corn mazes, tractor or train rides, farm animals, farmer's markets and of course, pumpkins. Some are just pumpkin patches where you can go and find that "just right" pumpkin to carve. I love taking the grandsons and watch them run around looking for just the right one for them. This can take awhile but we don't mind since it is a fun time together.

Schnepff Farms - Queen Creek, Arizona
This is the only time the whole working farm is open to everyone. Make plans to spend the day at this pumpkin patch in Queen Creek, Arizona (near San Tan Valley). There is something for everyone.
Our family lives near this farm and it is a fun day event for all of us. The grandparents love helping the young ones find "just the right" pumpkin for them. This location has a wonderful bakery, store and restaurant too. There are plenty of places to sit and eat; we like sitting outside since the weather is so nice this time of year in Arizona.

My Halloween Pumpkin
My Latest Pumpkin Creation
This is our Jack-O-Lantern from last Halloween. We had fun finding just the right one with the perfect stem. I am very particular that my pumpkin has a nice stem. I don't know why, but it is important to me. It gives my Jack-O-Lantern character.
This pumpkin we opened up from the bottom instead of the top and saved the seeds to run out of his mouth. It looks scary like this. Putting the Jack-O-Lantern over a LED candle is easy with the bottom open.
