KONG Cozie a Gift for Your Pet

Updated on February 7, 2018

Birthday & Christmas Gift Ideas for Your Dog

My dogs love to get Christmas and birthday presents, and yes I even wrap them. It's fun to watch them on Christmas morning when all of us are opening presents. Bruce & Maggie sit patiently waiting for their own to open. After handing them their present I do have to tear a little of the paper off to get them started. Once that 'paper is torn they excitedly rip off the rest with no problem at all. Once Bruce has seen what he has have gotten off he runs into another part of the house with his present in his mouth.

KONG Cozie Marvin the Moose

Please don't tell Bruce my Newfoundland dog that this is what he is getting this year from Santa. Bruce loves any kind of stuffed animals and toys. He will walk around with his toys in his mouth for hours. Once he is done holding them he goes up my bedroom and hides them under the bed so that his sister Maggie cannot find them. You should see all the dog toys under my bed; it looks like a toy store under there.

Ali the Alligator

This is the Cozie that I've chosen for Maggie and I'm sure she'll love it. Maggie I swear has been a human in past lives. When all the presents are opened and she realizes that there's nothing left under the tree she gets a little bit moody, She'll take her toy, turn her back on us and sit just far away from us so that we can still see her. She actually looks like she's pouting. My twins used to do the same thing when they were little guys.

To Purchase a KONG Cozie all you have to do is click on the Buy Now button that is under Marvin the Moose above.

Do you buy Christmas gifts for your pets? If you do I'd love to hear about what type of gifts you buy them in the comment box below.

Thank you for visiting today, and I hope that everyone has a Very Merry Christmas.

There are ten different KONG Cozie's to choose from, and I'm sure that your dog will love one no matter which one you pick.

All of the Cozie's are made with dogs in mind as far as durability goes. There is an extra layer of material to make the toy stronger. The thing I like about them is that they've used a minimal amount of filling. My dogs will sometimes get into a tug of war with their toys and I'm always afraid of them swallowing the filling or stuffing.

Each Cozie does squeak. For me squeaking toys are a great way to get my dogs attention when I want them to come inside the house. I will squeak it once and it's as if they hear it and think, Oh no, Mom has my toy, I'd better go and rescue it.

Out of 101 customer reviews on Amazon this toy has a 4 out of 5 star rating, and rates #4 in all squeak toys for dogs.

Merry Christmas!

@OhMe: Mine tend to end up destroying most toys and I'm hoping that these last a little longer than most do. I too like the fact that they contain less stuffing than most.

Our Bruno always eats his stuffed toys but maybe these by Kong would hold up better. They sure sound like they might and I like that they have a minimal amount of stuffing.

My two GSPs would love new babies! Great gift ideas--yes, they get gifts, too!

@Ruthi: Mine don't really play with their toys all that much either anymore but they still do love getting them and carrying them around in their mouths :) A good game of Tug a War every once in a while too.

@Susan Zutautas: Susan, since aging, Tidbit shows little interest in her toys, much to my dismay. But when I get a new puppy I am sure he or she will enjoy it! I've already made plans to get my next pup from San Luis Valley Animal Welfare Society (a Squidoo charity!) so when the time comes I shall remember you!

But of course we dog lovers must buy (and yes, wrap) Christmas gifts for our canine pals! The Kong cozies are adorable. I wonder if there is a raccoon. Maggie and Bruce are precious and I will be sure to help you keep their gifts a secret.
