Smoke Your Holiday Turkey on a Weber Bullet!

Updated on December 31, 2012

Welcome to my Holiday Cooking Guide!

This is the awesome Weber Smokey Mountain Cooker, or what most of its owners call "the Bullet."

It produces mouth-watering honey-brined, hickory smoked turkey that's "to die for" in about six hours and delivers ribs that taste like they came straight from Heaven.

I bought mine nearly ten years ago, and have since given a son and a daughter one...once you've got a Bullet, you want everybody to have one!

The Weber Smokey Mountain Cooker - Affectionately known as the Bullet

I bought my Weber Smokey Mountain Cooker in the Fall of 2003, while I was getting ready for major surgery. My first attempts at smoking chicken weren't pretty, but it didn't take me long to learn how to produce perfect birds every time.

My Bullet will smoke two turkeys at a time, up to about 15 pounds each, which makes it an ideal holiday cooker. With two cooking racks, I've also found that there's lots of room for a turkey, a ham, and one or two roasts...all cooked to perfection at the same time.

I love my Bullet, and so do all my friends! I smoked these two birds for a recent birthday party - Can't you just taste them?

The Bullet produces perfect ribs, too!

I use my Weber Smokey Mountain Cooker for Ribs on a regular basis, because no preparation is required...just pop them into the barbecue, smoke for six hours, and enjoy! As you can see, we mop ribs with our favorite sauces while they cook, but they'll be perfect even if you don't! This is effortless cooking at its best!

If you're feeling inspired, or just plain hungry, take a minute to say hello before ordering your Bullet!

Hungry yet? - Happy holidays!
