Optari Sol Tote - My Favorite Purse/Beach Bag
The Sol Tote (A.K.A. 'Croc Bag') = Cute, Funky and Practical Gift for Women and Girls
Colorful, cool and sassy meets practical and waterproof. What woman could ask for more in a bag that's as versatile as your imagination and your needs. Made from the same type of material as Crocs, Sol Totes by Optari are also easy to personalize with their own charms, ranging from cool and funky to pretty and feminine, to playful kids' charms.
I got my Sol Tote last Christmas and I've fallen in love with this unique casual handbag. I use the large size as my go-to mom bag for all my toddler's gear, and it's also roomy enough for a diaper bag, wonderful as a beach bag, and great for a tote for teachers to carry to and from school. The small size Sol Tote moonlights as a college student's shower caddy, a handbag, a cool personalized tween's purse or a unique gift bag. Almost every time I leave the house, someone comments about how cute my 'croc bag' is. Women of every age from teenagers to young professional women, young moms to grandmothers have all asked me where I've gotten it. There are a few women (and kids) who remember me because of my cool green tote.

Features That Make the Sol Tote a Great Mom Bag, Beach Bag, etc.
What you'll love about this all-purpose tote
- It's waterproof. If your water bottle or your child's sippy cup spills either inside of it or on it, all you have to do is wipe it down. No worries about your cute bag getting ruined.
- Easy to clean. In addition to being waterproof, you can just wash it out if your energy bar melts all over the inside. There aren't any nooks or crannies for pulverized Cheerios or Goldfish to hide in.
- It's got a cool shoe tread base. Not only is the tread cute, but it helps the bag stand up and not get knocked over easily.
- Two sizes. The large size is roomy enough to use as a diaper bag or mom bag. Plenty of space for diapers, wipes, changing pad, extra outfits, etc. The smaller size is perfect for use as a purse or handbag.
- Well-proportioned handles. They rest easily under your arm, and aren't prone to slipping like so many straps can be.
- It's got structure. It stands up straight and doesn't flop over or collapse so there's easy access to all you're carrying. I'm a huge fan of structured bags.
- Stores easily. Turn the handles one rotation, and they easily store at the sides of the bag so you can slip your Sol Tote under a seat or in your locker at the gym.
- Interchangeable charms. There are quite a variety of styles. You can choose one, or have several for different occasions.

Large Sol Tote - Generously sized version gives you lots of room for mom gear, beach gear or whatever you want to stash in it
I love this size of the Sol Tote because I can fit all the stuff I would regularly put in my purse in it and still have plenty of room for my preschooler's water bottle, snacks, small toys and 'just in case' extra clothes. Ground up goldfish had kind of ruined another purse of mine, but I can just wash them out of this bag with no problem.
They come in 10 colors: pink, lime green, yellow, blue, black, red, white, tan. lavender and orange.
Small Sol Tote - The cute purse-size version of the Sol Tote. Get the large one for mom, the small one for daughter!
I think I may get one of these for my daughter because she loves Mommy's 'green flower purse'. I'd love one too for those times where I don't need to carry a really big bag. The handles are really comfortable and they tuck under just like the ones on the larger size.
They come in the same 10 colors as the large tote: pink, lime green, yellow, blue, black, red, white, tan. lavender and orange.
Optari Backpack - ...and now they've got a new backpack!
You can personalize this cool backpack with the same charms as the Sol Tote. It comes in a bright array of colors to please girls, boys and parents alike. Change your backpack charms as you change your mood.
I'm excited that this backpack has some structure to it just like the Sol Totes.
...And wristlets - There's a snazzy little clutch to carry just the basics
I'm so glad Optari has come out with a teeny tiny bag just perfect for the barest necessities. It's a fun way to make a statement without having to carry a larger purse around. Personally, I'd probably use it for a wallet or just my lipstick/lip balm and makeup inside my larger Sol Tote.
I may even get one as a stocking stuffer for my daughter or small gift for our favorite babysitter.
So, is it a Beach Tote Bag? Mom Bag? Purse? Shopping Bag?
What would be your main use for a Sol Tote?
Cute, Cool and Funky Interchangeable Charms - They've got quite a selection to fit your personality and style. Switch them out to fit the occasion or the seaso
How cute is this for your beach bag? I like how these charms/fobbz are a durable, colorful plastic to go along with the totes. The backings pop easily into the holes in the Sol and stay put until you want to remove it and choose another one. Lots of designs for adults and kids too.
Have 'Croc Bag', Will Travel
Here's where my Sol Tote has come along with me so far:
To the petting farm -- I wasn't afraid to put it in a little red wagon with my daughter and her dirty shoes and pants (read: with mud and maybe even a bit of animal droppings) because I knew I could just wash it off and the yuck wouldn't get ground into the bag.
To a real farm -- Dirty shoes and clothes and no plastic grocery bag in which to put them? No problem. They could go in the Sol Tote and it would wash out later. No ruining a purse or my car.
To the beach -- How cool is a bag that you can shove wet beach gear into without worrying that it'll get ruined? It's also easy to wash the sand out of.
To my book study -- I can just drop my books in the Sol Tote and not worry about it falling over.
To the grocery store/drugstore -- Lots of people ask me about my tote; if it's made by Crocs, where to get one, etc. and comment on how cute and fun it is.
To playdates/the park -- I can pop extra clothes for my daughter, snacks, water bottles, etc. in there and just go. No having to switch bags from a purse that might get ruined by being set on a not-quite-dry park bench. Not to mention it's easy to clean the loose snacks out of the bottom of it.
Future travels.... Airplane travel, overnight trips, and who knows where else. I'll keep you posted.
