Summer Fun

Summer is here now and we want to enjoy all that it has to offer. However sometimes the humidity and heat get in the way. So I have some interesting Ideas I would like to share on staying cool, calm and having fun this summer.

Clothing: It is important to be comfortable so wear light clothing, shorts, short sleeve shirts, saddles, gym shoes, and cotton which breaths well and this will keep you cool and calm.

Exercise: We all want to stay in shape because we might be going on vacation, to the beach or somewhere exotic and we want to look good. The best times to workout is in the early morning or evening at twilight. You are less likely to get overheated or exhausted, this is a great time to do hiking or walking.

Hydration: We must protect our precious bodily fluids. We don’t want a heat stoke or some serious condition, so drink lots of water, Gatorade, Power-Ade. Maybe freeze down these items in the top of the refrigerator for use later.

Summertime snacks: Ice cream do I need to say more ,Chocolate, Raspberry Chocolate chip, Vanilla, Butter pecan yum. How about some frozen yogurt, slushies, or fresh fruit.

Wine and Beer Gardens: The summer is a great time of the year to get friends and family together how about trying a new wine bouquet or local beer garden. Many of these places have special summer only imports to satisfy you thirst. How about some Sangria?

Nostalgic ideas: Summer ideas of the past brought back to life will keep you cool and the family. It is time to get the super soakers, and the slip and slides out of the closet.

Pools and Parks: Many cities have public pools, and amusement parks have specials deals to there water rides, wave pools, and various rides for yearly pass purchases.

Movie Theaters, Aquariums, Museums and Shopping Malls: These places are usually kept cool for everyone’s comfort so these might be the places to be this summer for entertainment and fun.

These are just some ideas to help you enjoy your summer. Remember to check in on older relatives and friends who might have special concerns in regard to keeping cool. Most of all enjoy this time of year.
