Tablecoth for your Romantic Table

We will be adding a beautiful bouquet of a Dozen Red Roses with Red Rose Petals scattered around as your centerpiece. Then you will have the option of Valentines Day Placemats and Napkins (which you may or may not decide to use). The Red Square Charger Plates are next with the Red Handled Flatware which will both enhance the special Valentines Day Dinnerware Set. The heart shaped Napkin Rings and the heart etched crystal wine glasses will pull this beautiful table decoration together for the perfect Romantic Valentines Day Dinner.

Start your table decorations with a White Table Cloth - Let's start with a solid color table cloth - I prefer the white but a pink or red would be nice, too.

Starting your Table Decorations for Valentines Day with this white tablecloth is like having a blank canvas to create a beautiful painting. So let's get going with some creative ideas to make this table beautiful. We will be sprinkling this white tablecloth with red rose petals and candles. I hope you like my ideas for table decorations.

These ideas may just give you the inspiration to come up with some creative ideas of your own to make your table more personal. How about adding some pictures of you and your loved ones around on top of the table. Think about how you can really personalize this space to make it belong to just the two of you.

Place mats and Napkins - Select a pattern will go well with your theme.

You may decide not to use the place mats and to use solid colored napkins which will be fine, too.

Although the Valentines Day Place mats are not necessary when using the Red Charger Plates, they may just add a certain touch that you are looking for.

Place mats usually make a more casual statement but it really depends on how they are presented.

Heart Shaped Place mats are another option - Alternate the Red and Pink Place mats or use the same color

These Heart Shaped Red and Pink Place mats might be just what you want for your Valentines Day Table. I remember a time when you would not dare use red and pink together. Now, it looks great.

Place mats can be used to bring out the color or colors of your theme. You may not want to use place mats at all and that is fine, too.

The Valentines Day Dinnerware that I chose has square plates so not sure you will get the look you want with Heart Shaped Place mats but I sure like them, don't you?

I think Heart Shaped Red and Pink Valentine Place mats would look great for a table decoration for Valentines Day. I usually decorate our Breakfast Table for the holidays and would sure enjoy using these Pink and Red Valentine Place mats.

Heart Napkins

Even if you don't use the placemats on your Valentines Day Table, you might want to consider these Valentines Day Napkins which would look great with the heart shaped napkin rings below.

Perfect Napkins to use with your Heart Shaped Place mats - Red and pink striped napkins will look great on your Valentines Day Table

100% Cotton and Machine Washable make these napkins very appealing.

I love to have pretty napkins on the table and these sure would fit right in with the Romantic Theme of your table. You may decide that you want solid colored napkins and they would look very beautiful and classy, too.

Of course, you can never go wrong with sold colored napkins or even the white ones. You will have enough color in your charger plates and dishes to go with solid white for your linens and it is nice to use something that can be used again at other special occasions. With the rose pedals scattered on your white linen cloth, you will be fine with solid white napkins.

Heart shaped Napkin Rings - These would look great with the napkins featured above

I have always enjoyed using unique napkin rings with my table settings and I do love these heart shaped napkin rings. They are reasonably priced for 12 and if you don't need that many, you might consider giving some as gifts.

The Red Brush Strokes on the Valentines Day Dinnerware will really jump out when using these Red Charger Plates. I like the Square design of the dishes and these Red Charger Plates will look wonderful on your white table cloth and your special Valentines Day Placemats and Napkins.

Red Charger Plates - Service Charger Plates add to your Valentines Day Table Decorations

I really enjoy using Charger Plates and these Red Charger Plates look like they were especially made for the Valentine Dishes below.

Charger Plates can really make a difference in the way your table looks and they are relatively inexpensive. I think you will be amazed at the difference if you have never used them.

If you are going with Pink rather than Red, I feel sure you can find Pink Chargers also just by click the the Buy Now button and going to Amazon and search around. For many years you never saw pink and red used together but now they often are and it is quite attractive and appealing to the eye.

This can be done a variety of ways either in various size frames and on risers or you may want to just add photos to this Valentines Day Centerpiece using the Florist sticks that are used for the card.By the way, be sure to include a Love Letter with your Valentines Centerpiece and make it one that will be cherished forever.

@acreativethinker: I just sold one five piece set of Valentines china and am wondering how the person will use one set to decorate a Valentines Table. Maybe they will eat off the same plate.

When our kids were growing up, we served our children a restaurant style Valentines meal, complete with pretty table decorations, balloons, etc. We served as waiter and waitress and allowed them to choose from a special menu we made. Then we played special Valentine games we made up. Today, our children carry on this tradition with their children. Lots of good memories! Loved your lens!
