Fruit Infused Water Dispensers

Updated on June 11, 2018

Fruit Infused Water

My family drinks a lot of water. In fact most days that is the refreshment of choice for all of us, but bottled water is expensive especially the type of water infused with a hint of fruit. I was also sick of seeing half empty bottles all over the place so we collected up around 2 dozen bottles and now we refill them with our own filtered water.

I love the fruit infusers. They made it so we can have the great taste without the cost. They work especially well with lemons and since we own two lemon trees that produce more fruit than my family consumes it has worked out really well.

Healthy Fresh Fruit Water Infusers - Water Infusers

Water infusers work nicely right from the moment you cut your fruit, but most of the time I find the flavor is better the next day after the fruit gets a chance to soften up. Normally I make it at night once everyone has gone to bed. It's especially good when I have made a fruit salad and the just isn't the same the next day. It's perfect in the infuser.

Filtered Water Pitchers

I have a water filtration system attached to my faucet, but I like water better from a pitcher from the fridge because it's nice and cold. I am also very environmentally green and try to do my part for the Earth. I don't like disposable water bottles.

I can't exactly say how much money my family saves not purchasing bottled water, but I have 5 people living in my house and we drink at least 4 bottles of water a day. That's 20 less bottles in the dump. Twenty bottles a day time 1 year is 7300 bottles my family keeps from the dump in one year.

Faucet Attached Water Filters

This is similar to the one I have on my kitchen faucet. If you are going to get a filtration system you can save money by getting the ones that can turn on and off. I use the filtered water for consuming and then I switch it to non-filter when I want to wash a dish or our hands.

One water filter can replace 300 water bottles

A counter top model is the next step up. It's great for a small office or a large family as long as you have the counter top to spare.

We have the 18 cup Pur water dispenser you have featured here. It's very convenient and has worked really well for us. We are yet to try a water infuser. Thanks for your review :)
