Source

To make this paper plate witch project you will need:

  • Paper Plates
  • Green Craft Paint
  • Construction Paper - Black, Orange, Purple & White
  • Black Marker
  • Scissors
  • Craft Glue

Paint the paper plate green. Let the paint dry completely. While your painted plate is drying, trace your child's handprints on the orange construction paper. Cut the handprints out, you will need 4. Then cut out a witch hat shape, and a purple stripe for the hat. Two black circles and two white circles will be the witch's eyes.

When the plate is dry, draw a nose and mouth on it. Then glue the handprints onto the sides of the head. Two on each side, that's her hair. Then glue the hat on, add the purple stripe. Finally, glue the eyes onto your paper plate and your witch project will be complete.

Make A Pumpkin Witch

Supplies you will need to make a Pumpkin Witch are:

  • Witch Shoes
  • Black vacuum attachment tube, or some type of tube that will fit into the shoes
  • White duct tape (they will make the stripes on the legs)
  • E6000 industrial glue
  • Medium Plastic pumpkin - paint white if you like
  • Pumpkin Transfers from Martha Stewart
  • Witch hat (try to find one with hair attached)

Paint your pumpkin white if you like the way it looks, or leave it orange. The tubes are striped with the white duct tape and glued to the bottom of the pumpkin. Let the glue dry for several hours. Glue the shoes to the tubes and let that dry for several hours.

Put the hat on the pumpkin to see where you should put the face decals. Remove the hat, put the face transfers on the pumpkin, Then add the hair and hat - glue it on and you've got a great looking pumpkin!
