Invitation Freebie - Wreck It Ralph Inspired Party Invitation
A kid in a group that I look after from time to time wanted to have invites that would be fitting for the theme. As things were on a short notice this invite was a simple and quick fix. I created a brick texture and added a field to fill in all the details. You are free to use this invite (for personal use naturally). Just right click on the picture and save it!
Make sure you send these out at least a month in advance in order to give your guest enough time to plan for the day and to respond. If some of them forget to respond to your invitations be sure to give them a call a week or two prior to the party so you won't have too little or too much food.
Fake Cardboard Bricks!
This is the best party prop for this theme, I couldn't imagine this party without it (well unless you are going with the Candy Saga theme then you won't need them)! Although yo can buy them there's nothing stopping you from making your own out of cardboard boxes (think cereal boxes, shoe boxes...).
Perfect as decoration and for party games - kids will be able to throw them, build structures with them (and following the theme of the party - Wreck 'em!). The more you have the merrier! Also a great photo prop.
Bricks! Perfect decoration for this theme. You could decorate the walls with brick pattern but having 3D cardboard or foam bricks is way better.
Kids will be able to play with them. You can also use them as a fun photo prop.

Wreck it Ralph Party Supplies
There is nothing that gives more magic to a themed birthday than themed party supplies! If you have a large group of kids paper party supplies have another great bonus - no washing the dishes after the party (well worth considering).
Shop For Supplies
When I was young my family couldn't afford much so birthdays were usually celebrated in small numbers and without themed tableware. But I do remember the first time I was invited to a "real" party. It was in my first grade and the theme was princess. I was really looking forward to it although I really didn't know what to expect.
Alternative party supplies - I think these will work great - Which supplies I usually get
I keep it simple. I normally take plates and cups as I think these are the most important. Depending on the theme I opt for a table cover too. I don't usually buy themed napkins but I do get something that matches the color scheme.
This candy swirl paper plate is perfect! I loved the Sugar Rush part and think candy is a nice sub-theme for this party.
Food, glorious food!
Candy Stadium - Food and decoration at the same time.
The candy car race was a great inspiration for food. You can make stadium out of cardboard and place candy, cake pops (I'm all for cake pops and I do think the stadium would really look amazing - but they do take a lot of work if you want them to be special) or something similar on the seats. Have each cardboard box have their own kind of candy. I think kids will be loving it!
You can even take it a step further and do make a racing track. I don't know if I would be making the lap out of candy as it could be tricky (sour candy maybe?) but you could be making candy racer cars. Or the kids can make them at the party!
Wreck It Ralph Cakes
Cakes and cupcake make all the difference! There is still no sign of any official cake toppers (bear with me - as soon as any of them will start popping up they will be featured on this page). However cakes inspired by this animated movie are already being made.

Edible Cake Topper - Simple and quick
I remember the first cake image topper I ever saw. It was for my cousins baptism cake and the image was of a chalice and Jesus. I was 4 or 5 at that time and I didn't even know you could print images and make them edible so I was really impressed by the skill the cake artist has shown - I though he had drawn everything by the hand.
These are really inexpensive and will turn the cake into a masterpiece. There's another advantage to this ones compared to plastic cake toppers - you won't have to fear a part that's not meant to be eaten will get eaten. Care free cake for the little ones.
Wreck It Ralph & Racers Cupcake Toppers - Little cupcake decorations
I love my cupcakes! I can't imagine a birthday a party without them any more. While I am keen on trying out new tastes my favourite is still chocolate (I am a chocoholic, can't live without it even if it gives me heartburn, ah the prices we have to pay). When I am in a hurry I frost them with whipped cream just before they are served, if there's enough time butter cream is my favourite.
Decoset - Make a cupcake cake
When cupcakes were introduced they were an instant hit, but humanity has taken them a step further and created cupcake pull apart cakes. Small cupcakes have become large cupcake assembled masterpieces. Adults like them, kids are absolutely crazy about them. I already made a frog pull apart, rubicks cube from square cupcakes, elephant and a cat face.
This decoset will help you create afun looking big cupcake with Raplh and Venelope on top.
Printable Cupcake Toppers - Inspired by Ralph
As I believe every birthday party needs to have cupcakes or at least something similar and as every cupcake needs a topper I also created this simple freebie. Right click and save.
You can also use a freebie from Spoonful - they have printable pencil toppers (so fun) which can easily be used as cupcake toppers! Be sure to print them out on a thicker paper so they won't get damaged too quickly. Stick them on on lollipop sticks (you can get them at most stores that have basic baking supplies) and stick them on your favourite cupcakes (chocolate hint, hint)
Life Size Cardboard Cutouts
These are perfect! Kids will love them and this will give life to this theme.
You can get all the characters but I personally like Raplh and Venellope the most. These won't only look great as a decoration but you can also use them as photo props. Kids will be lining up to have their photos taken with these two.
Games and activities
Wreck-It Ralph Party Games - It's time to get wrecking!
Every party worth talking about has some cool themed games. I usually have lots of ideas for unique party games but Ralph was really a challenge and I couldn't come up with a lot of things - I do hope you will find these useful (if you have any game ideas be sure to share them in the comments section).Pin itPin the tail on the donkey is one of the most popular party games of all time. I though about how to give it a Ralph theme and it hit me - you could use a big trophy and a coin to pin on it.Wreck it!
You can use old cardboard boxes and color them red to make fake bricks the kids can then play with. You can stack them up and have the kids throw things at the pile to knock them over. You can also get them from the stores.Sugar Rush Racers
Get as much different candy as possible, round ones, squared ones, soft ones and hard ones. Have the kids make their own candy racers. You will need something for the base of the car - healthy crackers work great. Salty sticks are good for connecting the wheels. If you have a group of smaller kids you might consider using lollipop sticks as salty sticks could break. Marshmallows make great tires. Well the only limit is imagination.Coin Toss
Make a trophy and have the kids throw coins (game tokens) in it. All the kids that make the shot go to the next round.Fix it!
You can use Fix it Felix as a point for fun educational games. You could give the kids simple tasks to do (simple math problems, puzzles) and have them Fix it!
Wreck It Ralph Coloring Pages
Kids love them!
You can use them at a party or you can add them into a treat bag as they always make perfect party favors.
You can print you coloring page for free as at Spoonful (as a courtesy of Disney).
There are a few more printables available from their site so be sure to check them all out (they will come in handy as decorations or as party favors)
Treats to remember the party
Free Printable Activity Book
Fix it and Wreck it - fun free printable activity book with lots of fun activities - word search, puzzle, spot the difference, drawing and more! Just print them out and assemble them.
This treat will make a great favor as it fits the theme, kids will love it and it is easy on your budget.
Again you can get this great freebie at Spoonful as a courtesy of Disney.
Coloring books always make a great party favor - they are inexpensive and kids are crazy about them. This is the one I thin the kids will like the most as it comes with crayons!
This is the best coloring book I found and I think it is a perfect party favour. The price is usually at around $1 so if you don't exactly have 100 guests it won't be to expensive. This coloring book comes with crayons.
Add some candy and you have a perfect party favor.
If you have any other ideas be sure to share them! I would also love to hear from you if you already had this party, what did you do, which games you played and how it all worked out.
