~~~ A Woman's Worth ~~~
Updated on November 11, 2013
~ A Woman's Worth ~
The resplendent wonder which thou art, lives amidst our dawn, and sleeps upon the beckoning twilight of a crescent moon. Thy womanhood is an invisible cipher, obscured by shadows, wrapped in naked secrets, bound by conundrum and sealed by unspoken promises, which a man holds in his heart ‘til he can hold thee in his arms.
I am the unseen dream behind the midnight of your eyes. My love makes you more beautiful than any belle who has ever graced the thoughts of mortal man, for I am the god who gave birth to the dual sparkles of serenity, which captured thy father, as he swore true love , and vowed they’d never part, like the twin stars of thy mother’s eyne, which bled their liquid diamante of future happiness with salted tears, splashing their meniscus atop a freshwater lake, where ancient suns once skated noontime rays across never-ending argent ripples of aqueous calm.
From billions, I chose my bullion, though I’ll never divulge why, until the sky turns his page and the mystery of thine heart is revealed. On the twenty-fifth hour of our day, shared by only you and I, I kissed you, and told thee that you were more beautiful than the fairest of them all. Under romantic skies, you made eyes and put the heavenly stars to shame. As a wintry, lunar lantern splayed her diffused, coconut fairytale beams of Nordic milk, thy eager lips of soft caress pressed out your name across trembling flesh. You are a Princess forever, and my desire for thee shall never be pacified; a thousand oceans would’st fail to extinguish the flames of my love for you, repugning all unwelcoming douses of smite. Yesterday, today and the ‘morrow becomest the dazzling raiment I clothe thee with, as you live and love within considerations of stonewashed, holiday shores and summer leaves of Planet Earth, whose rainbow bubble of oblate spheroid, volleys through the darkened seas of space-time, spinning and rolling like the marble of a newborn’s eye, rocking inside the cradle of our sweet eternity.
THE END
      Hi Mabelhenry,
      I certainly hope you are doing fine this Sunday evening, and pleased that it met with your distinct approval. She is obviously very valuable, which is difficult to eulogize, and grant full justice to in words alone, so glad that the write lent you good feelings of lavishness and gaiety. Thank you for such generosity in commentary, and in sharing, and sincerely wish you an exciting week ahead.
      With Kind Regards,
      Hey Dearest RQ,
      I actually have a copy of this Roxy cd with "Angel Eyes." What fun to hear this again. Interesting choice of music. Naturally, as a woman, I love hearing men pay tribute to that is woman. And as usual, you do not fail to bring that loveliness into our worlds with your words and your rhymes. As always, a wonderful journey you have provided.
      Best,
      Kim
      Hello Dear Romeos,
      I am so thrilled I am able to get on-line this day (at the moment while the glitches of the computer are holding off a bit) to enjoy your most enchanting tribute to the worth of a woman. You are able to make all women feel of great worth reading your divine words of adoration and it is evident just how much you enjoy being in the company of the fairer sex and aim to please.
      Hope all is well on your side of the pond.
      Up and more and sharing
      Pardon the delayed response Lisa. Well, your views are certainly welcome and you have some valid opinions here. A happy woman has got to be good for all parties concerned, especially her nearest and dearest. The compliment was flattering, though it's often the case that one cannot bank on the actions of another, and attempting to play connoisseur to the art of unintended consequence can be a hiding to nothing - in other words, a man can't read a woman's mind :) , so learning to trust in God's wisdom and not to lean on one's understanding in weighty matters certainly seems more appropriate at times.
      Thanks for coming by, and trust that you'll have a really pleasant week ahead Lisa.
      Hello Dear faith,
      Equally, I'm thrilled that you can get online this day also, as you always pose some interesting questions and have so much to offer by way of commentary and encouragement. Perhaps having four sisters makes one used to the carefree company of the magical female presence which never fails to enchant and mystify. It's good to have a laugh with the lads as well, but I can't write poetry for them :)
      I hope Monday isn't too much of a drag for you and you are finding your smiles as the hours elapse dear heart.
      Things are pretty O.K. here, thanks for asking, and send my best to you and your family from this side of the great divide. Thank you for your sharing nature, as it is a mighty blessing when you are around.
      With warm Regards,
      Well, Dear Romeos, just O.K. will not do, especially for one who writes so eloquently to bring much beauty into this world!
      Oh, Monday is not too bad, especially since I have the holiday off from work, so that is a nice for sure.
      Wow, four sisters! No wonder you seem to understand women so well, and I am sure you have seen all sides, the good, the bad and the .... lovely : )
      hahaha no ... writing poetry for the lads places a much different aspect on things no doubt! However, there are many fine poets, such as yourself, who are "lads" who know quality poetry when they read it!
      You are always so kind in your words to me, and you are truly the one who is a blessing when you are around.
      I do hope that the "O.K." is soon remedied to super fantastic!
      Hugs,
      ' O.K. ', has just been evicted, and a first class delivery of ' Super fantastic ' has just made its way over, dearest Faith. :)
      Oh, that's great to hear that you have a holiday from work - popcorn and a slushy movie..... no worries :)
      Lol! ' The Good, the Bad and the Lovely ' - how diplomatic of you - I've seen them as glorious angels, and also screaming banshees from hell that would make any devil drop his pitchfork and do a runner haha!
      You are so special precious Faith, and I truly hope you realize such, because it's true, and I can't recall anyone who even comes close.
      Thanks for being you, and for always shining the way you do. So special.....
      Hello Ms Dora,
      I still think that showing a little respect to women, deserved or not, is the best policy in life, even though it can be trying at times for men to act this way towards women for myriad reasons, known only to themselves. Regarding the honour; if she is worthy, then she should wear her garland of grace with consummate pride.
      Thank you for your always generous input and kind comments.
      Romeos Quill, Hello my precious and dear brother. First may I tenderly say this is a most endearing, sensitive, lovely, heart felt, vivid and moving work. I felt like a woman melting in pure love. Aww!! When a man loves a woman truly he does love the Lord. We can only love because He first loved us. Amen.
      I listened to the video while typing away here and got off track. I will go back to hear again. Thank you for such a beauty to treasure my gifted brother. I have missed hubs and soon I must return. I feel the blood boiling with passion to write. Gods timing is all for a reason. I do not have the answers I trust Him. He is in all or nothing.
      You probably know I have been away for weeks. Much has happened. After a birthday graced in the love of the Lord with darling family and amazing friends a storm of enormous magnitude came our way. ( meaning my hubby and I) It could always be so much worse. I am humbled and so very grateful we both stood our ground and when we felt like we were slipping off the Rock we could help one another to climb back on. Praise the Lord. His hand was always on us. He knew it was to come. The storm had a ripple effect and without the love, prayers and support of those so close to me (physical I would be a zombie) Gods grace and mercy is amazing. He is faithful and true. In all the storm He has turned all things for the good. Now we do share in the glory of Gods wondrous goodness and kindness and works!! Many are in awe of HIS works. To HIM be the Glory. Truly I am so humbled. I knew the calm would come. Because God is faithful and true. He does not go back on HIS word. Gratitude is hardly a word to express my love for Jesus and His gifts.
      Hubs has been on my mind but due to riding out the storm I could not get here. Today is thanksgiving., I am crying tears of joy. I listed all I had to be grateful for in my mind and dozed off after about 1,200 things and some. I pray for all my dear friends, bros and sisters you being one precious Romeos. I pray that your day and in this coming year you are blessed in all the goodness and graciousness of our Lord and Savior. I do love ya bro and I so looked forward to reading something from you. You are the first I came to visit. I hope to read more amazing hubs today.
      The Lords presence is like sheer peace and assurance all is well. I can relate to Paul he learned to be content in what ever came his way. Mind you my cares are nothing of proportion to what dear apostle Paul endeared. He is amazing man of God, Amen. Anyway I need to write about what happened because HIS GLORY shines. I truly hope to do so. I hope to do that very soon.
      My hugs to you my dear bro. You are so special. I am grateful to know you. I pray that all you desire in your heart abounds on you in His perfect time. The favor of the Lord always be on you sweet Romeos Quill.
      My Love. Keep em coming Mr. Quill! Your sister, Skye
      Dear Skye ( Today, and every day :),
      What a lovely surprise to have you come by, and it's a privilege indeed for me being the first Hub for you to visit after your recent trial. You always leave such special and heartfelt words, so genuine and honest, full of love - so beautiful and refreshing, just like their authoress.
      Your absence was noticeably felt, but am happy for you that you and hubby have come through your recent ordeal, hopefully stronger, and still smelling of roses, and that ' I love you ' was always there for you both in the unseen eye of the storm.
      Your list of twelve-hundred and ' then some ' things to be thankful for is quite impressive! Thank you so much for your blessings which mean a great deal sis, and hope to God that you yourselves receive an overflowing measure, poured into your lap. I'm happy that you are in receipt, hopefully permanent, of that assurance and peace which surpasseth understanding - He never lets anyone down and always keeps His promises.
      The Apostle Paul you mentioned....a mighty worker of the Lord with such great personal responsibility for so many; when we consider our trials, I think about what he endured....false brothers, false prophets, false workers, deceitful spirits, false teachers, shipwrecked thrice, in danger of death every day, the burden which was entrusted to him to preach to us, as we were, ignorant Gentiles, the prayer life, daily concern for every member of the church in his care; buffeted by the adversary, public floggings, hunger, prison, all for the sake of preaching the Good News to us....the list goes on. Kind of puts our probs into perspective.
      I'm really pleased to know you dear Skye, and am fortunate today to have you shine your love light, and glad that you enjoyed this piece of writing. Thank you for your generosity in sharing.
      I love you sis, and look forward to your wonderful stories and testimonies which you may decide to share in the future. I'll try to keep them coming; I've written a few over the past couple of days but they were for individuals and not for publication..All power to your pen. :)
      Take care precious;
      With Loving Regards,
      Romeo's Quill
      Dear R.Q.,
      In a world of "Gangster Rap", "Thug Life", and a view of women as "Objects"... things to be used; your piece paints a refreshing portrait. Attention is drawn to the beauty, the call, and the allure that we, as men, should possess a willingness to cling to. For us, women are a gift, a true blessing from God Himself. Something that shouldn't be taken lightly. The voice of the speaker is that of one caught in enchantment, smitten, and irrevocably chained in the prison of love. A place where the torment is only pleasure itself.
      I would hope that one day the world would shed it's callous exterior and return to a time of simpler view. A time when women were still beautiful and looked upon with desire. A time that you capture so vividly.
      Blessings
      Hi mattmilamii,
      You've left some interesting points on this one, and I share your vision of that simplicity. It seems to work both ways; unfortunately, if the way to attract a woman's attention is by being involved in gang life or fast-tracking towards the easy money, then players and gangsters are what men will emulate in order to win her. I guess birds of a feather flock together; some guys go for the vain and shallow type; others, a capable woman of interior and exterior beauty, though the latter type seem quite rare, that you allude to ( I can count that kind of woman on one hand in life, so far ).
      Thanks a bundle for your blessings which I hope are heaped upon yourself this weekend, for coming by and being so encouraging and informative with your sobering commentary, and hope that all is going well with you.
      All the Best,
      R.Q.
