V1/ Southern-Irish girls are fine;

Swedish blondes are so divine.

American models love to pose,

But nothing beats an English rose.

V2/ French-born girlies,dangerous and sexy;

Italian beauty sure affects me.

Russian dolls are husky,and proper,

Polish babe,it's hard to top her.

German frau-lein,so seductive,

Occidentals' reproductive.

Jamaican women,hold such allure,

Mysterious Greek girls give you more.

V3/ Japanese dreams are cute,and sweet;

Brazilian bodies are hard to beat.

Turkish ladies,tightly bound,

Australians,fun to be around.

Norwegian chicks,with pouting lips,

A face to launch a thousand ships.

V4/ Celtic charms,leave me in stitches;

Reel you in,then steal your britches.

Spanish broads are brazen nympho;

Jewish birds require more info.

But one girl I like most of all,

Has not been mentioned,here at all.

V5/ An Eastern mind,and Western face,

With Northern soul and Southern grace;

A quiet spirit,and gentle nature;

Every man just wants to date her.

Her name,for now,remains unknown,

Until I call her on the phone....

      Oh this is absolutely adorable... there's kind of something for everyone isn't there. You're just a lover of all people and find beauty in everything... I'm guessing. Gosh, you touched my heart and made me laugh, all at the same time... I love that magic!

      Beautifully awesome!

      This one was a shallow focus on perceived beauty;just a cursory glance at the physical representation of that physical attraction.the depth of field increases,the greater the beauty,until serious consideration is given to a more complete beatification of love(the whole package),which I'm searching for....that which electrifies every part of a man's being.

      I always feel blessed when verse touches someone in a unique manner,and the fact it made you you laugh as well is a bonus.

      Thanks again,beautiful.

      Yours Sincerely,

      Romeo's Quill

      I got that... I thought it was quite "spot on". You couldn't have done it in a less offensive manner. Simply adorable! Romeo... might I make an observation? You are such a one of a kind, talented, beautiful, charming, sweet, romantic, compassionate... kind of guy... I don't know if you'll ever find that "complete package" that will do you justice! I guess you might have fun along the way though :-)

      You're such a doll, I can barely stand it... where are you? England... geesh! :-)

      Sincerely Yours,

      I wouldn't,in reality,place a woman on a lofty plinth,as she would simply become out of reach.I don't know about you,but if one has ideal(s) in mind for a prospective partner,then one surely has to meet the qualifications of said ideal(s),themselves.

      You are very flattering,and it made me feel good,but honestly,I'm just an average guy,who likes to write,and has found a great outlet for expression,in order to do so,along with meeting some great people,sporting excellent qualities,as well as a few diamonds.

      If I really was that man that you described,then the pursuit of a decent woman,with those credentials,I sincerely believe would be to my disadvantage.

      Thank you for the admirable comments;

      Sincerely Yours,

      Romeo's Quill

      You are a humble boy, my Romeo! Though I couldn't agree more that one needs to reach to some kind of an equivalent. I suppose it's good to set some kind of high standards for one's self, but I've always found it funny how, especially women, want the best of everything in a mate, but yet are a far cry from matching those standards themselves; do they really suppose that someone with all of these wonderful things to offer would be looking for someone of her standards? It seems kind of silly to me. At any rate, you are one helluva a package and if you don't see if for all that it is, you are doing yourself an injustice! :-) Average guy? Pffff!

      Sincerely Yours,

      I've learned not to have high expectations anymore of folk,as then,there is no room for disappointment,but the heart is a tricky thing,and can blind-side you without a moment's notice.

      I generally believe,though,that the feet will follow where your heart wants to be - I guess that's why a great deal of people,who are presently content/happy,don't want to move,and are actually,at that moment in time,where they truly want to be..... or perhaps if the heart has no where to go,because it's only choice is hearkening to the past,on some level,that could explain why moving on physically can be difficult for some people.I don't know,yet,but it fascinates me.

      And you? ... well....you are just God's gift to man;methinks he was boasting a little,when he made you!

      Sincerely Yours,

      Oh my dear Romeo... I hope you are honored that I'm using one hand to stroke the keys and the other to hold my eyes open long enough to visit you before I retire for the evening... this is quite early for me, I dont' know why I'm so exhausted. On a positive note, I spent my evening at my daughter's school Spring concert "Splish Splash", "I Won't Grow Up" and "Send My Regards to Broadway"; so cute! Sorry for the off topic ramble, but hey, gotta fill my Romeo in :-)

      Now, I don't know how I missed this reply, I would never leave you hanging, intentionally.

      Expect the worst, pray for the best? I kind of live by that philosophy, not necessarily with people, but with everything. Disappointment stinks, in any form. But, you... you must be careful when dealing with personal expectations... don't go too low, you really are at the top Romeo... it's okay to play a rung or two down, but you don't want to go too far :-)

      Oh the heart... yes, love is blind and the heart tends to throw expectations out the window doesn't it... which is great for leading to disappointment down the road. I've been known to repeatedly attempt polishing turds, but you just can't make 'em shine :-) (Wow, did I really just down grade your page?)

      I haven't figured it out yet myself... we seem to jump blindly into love, stagnate in it once it's turned rotten, "go through the motions" when it's okay, but not great... I don't know... is there really "Knock your socks off, I can't believe I'm in this kind of love, every day for the rest of your life" kind of love? Or is that just the stuff fairy tales are made of? We'll see, but I haven't been overly impressed yet.

      You on the other hand... always impressed... very impressed! You're such a gem... you better not plan on going anywhere!

      I see you've been busy while I was out... another hub! :-) And you're girl is already behind a chapter in her Romeo Romance :-( I'll be keeping your tabs open until I finish them, trust me, you far from bore me, in fact, you inspire me! I'm just whooped! Always happy to see your beautiful face!

      The girl whose heart is beatin' a million beats a minute,

      I would have replied much sooner,but it's been difficult getting the time to myself to respond,today, to your kind self,and others.I do indeed feel honoured by your taking precious time to respond;I consider it a labour of love,which I truly cherish.Always feel free to 'fill me in' on what you're doing,because I'm always interested in what you're up to,and I mean that - your daughter is very fortunate to command your time,which I'm sure she has rewarded you with some beautiful,and wonderful memories to treasure. :)

      Regarding your philosophy;I hear you loud and clear,and have taken note,and no you never downgrade my page-you are free to say whatever you like on here.Your take on the love thing is thought-provoking;I'm going to have to think a little longer about that;and about going anywhere? From week,to week,life is changing and I don't always know what will be happening from one to the next,but rest assured,I won't ignore you...you're too precious....

      Rather than stroking these keys,I would much rather be petting the cat :)

      Your presence is like a warm coat on a windy afternoon.Thanks for being the silver lining to this cloudy day,and being the brightest star in the sky in which to sail this ship by.

      Yours,

      Now I feel bad for busting your chops about being away for so long... don't ever take my joking seriously, but all the lovey dovey stuff, that's solid as a rock :-) I hope you're starting to understand that I tend to bounce around between serious and playful... I seriously would never want to offend you :-)

      I guess jumping from topic to topic can probably get a little confusing to follow, but my philosophy was in response to your comment on high expectations. I don't know if anything I said was even logical... I guess I've just been trying to understand relationships, from the outside, for as long as I can remember and I guess I just can't grasp them. Maybe it just makes sense when it just makes sense?

      Hey, I'd rather be pet! :-)

      I feel like you're my daily dose of fresh air... you breath life into me and you definitely get me smiling... okay and my heart beats a little faster and harder too ;-)

      You're so sweet... like I said, you better not go anywhere, how am I supposed to breath with no air?

      Yours Truly,

      P.S. About the love musings you wrote about.I think that love could be likened to being the most beautiful flower in the field;it grows wild as nature intends,and stands out as the most glorious amongst its' contemporaries,being nurtured as nature intends.If,one day,someone strolls along,and decides to pick that flower,to grow in his own garden,he must be willing,and able to not only to just maintain its' naturally,imbued beauty already inherent in the make-up of its composition,as it grows wild,but to prune,and protect from all of the attacks that could damage that basic beauty,and to feed that rose with a more pure soil,and cleaner rain,to magnify,and improve the welfare,and joy that the flower could normally bring in its own natural state.

      The 'knock your socks off' kind of love(are you still walking around barefoot? ;0),I think comes along when each person shares the classic four types of love:Affection(storge),Friendship(Phile),Romance(Eros) and Unconditional Love(Agape).

      I think that a lot of couples run into problems,because it(love), sometimes appears to be what it is not,thus becoming a corrupting influence,instead of bringing the couple closer.

      Anyway,I said I'd have a think about it,so I have,and offer you this....

      I count your every heartbeat;

      Yours Truly,

      R.Q.

      Oh my lanta... I had to find my socks and put them on, just so you could knock them off again! Is it okay to have butterflies in a room with nothing more than yourself and a computer? :-) I don't think you have any idea of how honored I am that you can give me the time and energy to say the sweet things that you do, that could surely be hubs of their own. Romeo... I just stand here, a big question mark... are you for real? Maybe all the oxygen has seeped from my head, but I am so impressed and I cannot believe how much I adore you! Is this healthy? :-) If only I could return the beautiful words that you offer to me, but I just do not have this gift that you do... I think and I feel and I understand... all of these words you say and so much more, I wish I could express them to you... How about you work magic with your words and I'll have to leave the magic to my hands :-) Hey, sorry if I'm out of line there, but I can't be held responsible when you melt hearts the way you do. My goodness, I'm dizzy right now! Reading what you just wrote, actually made me lightheaded! :-) You are such a beautiful soul Romeo, no one has ever had the ability to render me speechless, and trust me, despite this babble, I truly am speechless!

      Yours, today, tomorrow, how's forever work for you?

      Even before I took my first waking breath this morning,the mental picture which arrived upon the swiftest wings of invisible love,gently grasped me and whispered,

      " Forever is only the beginning. You live,for she lives in you;drink her,and inhale the only oxygen you'll ever need;your reason for reason. "

      Boy oh boy... there's certainly no better way to start my day than coming over Romeo's way! I'll tell you... I must've exerted some serious energy last night, well with finding my socks, putting them back on and having them knocked off again; I passed out in my computer chair and woke in the middle of night, just to hobble my way to a mattress :-)

      I wasn't done, or at least I hadn't intened to be!

      Hi John,

      Glad to hear you liked the verse - thanks to the wonderful Jackie for giving you a big chunky thumbs up to throw more light your way - a very kind woman....and of course, in the Goidelic branch ( Manx, Scotch and Irish Gaelic ), the fine Scottish Lass has to be right up there with her disarming charms.

      Thanks a lot for flying over, and delivering your uplifting comments. Have a marvellous weekend.

      All the Best,
