The Allur of Fantasy

Updated on May 26, 2012

What is this fantasy....

that I have come to find

this woman.. this goddess.

is such an ALLUR to my mind.

Like a vast indigo ocean

Her words found my heart.. so blue

For I am a just a humble man...

searching for a goddess.. as you.

With the Alur of Athena

she has attracted me

To try to win her charms....

through... my written poetry.

Please don't wake me..

from my alluring fantasy..

for another broken heart...

I do not want to be.

Is there more to want..

from the soul's of men.

Then to find a true love..

and her heart... try to win

With a face.... so sweet,

Those eyes... are a treat

Just to be close...

To you...

is a dream come true..

To walk with you

and just hold your hand,

in the shimmering twilight,

in the blue... white soft sands.

Yes.. this is only....

a dream to me..

to be with this sweet...

Alluring .... Fantasy.

Hi Michael! We are bound by and in fantasy as well. I love to think of fantasy and just like how you romantically think of it, is so beautiful. Alluring in your awesome poetic thoughts and dreams, hope this fantasy will come true for you.

This is like a serenade: beauty in the flow of the words. It should be applauded that your tone has changed to a bit more "alluring" and the photo depicts an image of a true goddess. If I could only meet the fantasy that a man has put for a woman such as this:)

      Brilliant. Bravo!

Michael, this is a beauty, so captivating and tenderly lovely, even if it's a fantasy it is definitely a great one at that =)

I think this is one of your poems that has the best pictures ever! They add so much to the lovely poem, it's wonderful, Michael.

Michael, what's going on? I just read your "Just put a Fork in me" and now this one, so sad and depressing. it isn't you...None of your hundred plus hubs are in this tone... Yes, it's beautifully written but that's just the way you always express yourself anyway - just had to ask why such a different tone?
