Universe…

Limitless span of time, space

Darkness mixed in light

Mysterious…God’s creation

Planets…

Barren, void of life

Hurling through time

Perpetually…vacant

Earth…

Giving life, evolving

Spinning orb of sustenance

Beautifully…delicate

Sunset….

The last of gold rays of day

Paint the fading blue sky pink

Closing time…end of day

Dusk…

Stars begin to mark the sky

Drawings etched in light

Solitude…God’s world

Night…

Crickets chirp from the stillness

Moonlight bathes the dark

Peace…Tides rise

Sunrise

Heaven’s lights lost in the glow

Sun rays warm the morning air

Renewed…the day begins

Birth…

A crying entry into the world

Naked innocence with bright eyes

Blessed…the journey begins

Life…

Learning and challenge abound

Love, fear, harmony, happiness

Living…a chain of days

Death…

Sunset of life’s journey

Tears, reflection, tributes, love

Blessed….by the Hand of God

Salvation…

God’s loving embrace

Joy, faith, hope, love

Eternally…with God’s Universe

Beautiful! Love so many of the stanzas . . . from dusk: Stars begin to mark the sky

      Drawings etched in light

      Solitude…God’s world

The video is awesome too. I watched it three times with the Pengiun close at hand! Cheers!

@BenWritings...Your verse is right on, Ben. Man is but a speck in all that goes on in the universe. We are only a small cog in a grand cycle of coming and going and the continued revolutions of earth spin away the endless time toward infinity. Life is awesome to experience yet quite humbling amid the grand scheme of it all. Surely we are truly blessed as humans. Thanks for your comments and for sharing your inspiration. WB

Mister Wayne, I see this one hasn't been commented in a while.

I wrote something, just for this:

In the grand scheme of all existence and being

Human kind insignificant, it would seem

Minds wander near and far, blazing into the stars

Given by Him, life, death, salvation is ours

      Awesome work, as usual

      How lovely!

      Crying entry.......

      Sunset of life's journey....

      God's embrace......

I have not heard crickets chirping for far too long.

@saddlerider1....I would tell you how I do it if I knew myself Ken! LOL! This latest stuff is just the product of letting my imagination really go and thinking about how large the world is and how small we are in the complexity of it all. Once it comes forth, I don't fiddle with it too much...just let it come. Then I dress up and take it market! Thanks for your kind words my friend! WB

Wayne I am super impressed as usual by your massive versatility as a conveyor of thoughts so immense. I will not ever say that this is a best for you, because you just keep raising the bar with every new hub you publish here. Congratulations for just being you, spontaneous, gifted and surprising to us all. Great write my friend.

@MartieCoetser...Thank you! I did not structure it but more or less wrote it as it came forth...I had doubts that it was worth posting but apparently I was wrong in that assessment thank goodness! WB

@Donna Janelle...Thank you so much. This one just kept working its way the surface late yesterday. I let it lay overnight but it was still there this morning wanting to be published. So I went with it....WB

@CMerritt...I just accept what comes forth. Sometimes it makes sense to me, sometimes it does not. I had mixed emotions about this one honestly but, as usual, I was wrong, thank goodness! WB

@Petra Vlah....Wow, Petra, that is a high bar for me to reach up to again. I am so glad you were impressed with it. I just took what came forth and worked with it. I was never sure that it would have any legs. Thank you very much for those kind words. WB

@50 Caliber...You know by now, Dusty, everything I do is an accident of some sort! LOL! I am still trying to figure out what poetry is, so it's not likely that I am using a particular style on purpose. LOL! Thanks my friend, I will check Sa'ge out. WB
