Cleaner-3 ...Random Poetry Thoughts

Updated on July 23, 2013

I have so many short thoughts of my poetry set aside, after reading a quote from skye2day I was inspired to share them with my fellow hubbers.

Where are the thoughts that cross our mind

the forgotten words we look to find...

" Poetry with music ..turns into song

what is a song... but expression,

with feelings that only exist

when you put them into words..

Words put together in the mind of one,

mean something another"

"A mentor .. A muse.. an inspirational being

within your subconscious..

a reason to create something special,

whether it be only words to you

it could be a symphony to others"

"Poetry is the art of words

painted in the mind

through a harmonious blende

of imagery and color"

"To be able to show inner beauty

through pain... is the

ultimate expression"

"I am never alone

I always have your memory as company

the ghost of your soul--lives within"

" My form only exists

to hold the lining of your emotions

although you exist elsewhere

I own your spirit

A former shell of myself..

is the tragic and beautiful figure

that I am ..

which is a continual renewal

of who I used to be"

"Trying to write poetry.... is a cauldron of idea's

that overflows from the thoughts

that heat your mind

as the words boil over and each one

..lifting one another up and around,

clinging... fighting, to be the first one out

until they are released...

as comprehensive thought"

Wonderful collection of prose. Great way to express them all in a piece like this. I too, have so many thoughts and simple muses written throughout my journals and notebooks that I have felt would be a foundation for a poem but as they stand alone, I never give them any more notice than just, "a thought"

Oh, I truly love skye2day, she is amazing!

So true as poetry is all of that, a lovely song, as well as it delves into the mind of the poet, and one never really knows what those words the poet has written mean to the poet himself, a true poet, like yourself, and that is the raw beauty of poetry is that each reader takes away something totally different almost to the extreme!

I have found true poets to be so filled with raw emotion and passion that it spills out onto the page, whatever it may be, it must be written just how it is in his or her mind.

I like that harmonious blend or as you say "blende" ...

Your line of showing that inner beauty through pain reminds me of our sweet Lord and the pain He went through for us on that cross, reflecting that inner beauty of unconditional love and suffering. Those who are mothers do suffer a lot for their hearts just break for their children who may not be happy for one reason or another or who are suffering.

And then another line here, "I own your spirit" is one that I do not get . . . that is owning anyone's spirit . . . but you are the poet and who knows what was in your mind when your wrote this piece and, again, that is the beauty of poetry.

      Have a lovely night,

      Faith Reaper

James ...Thank you for the comment

You remind me of revolutionary painters in Mexico who were revolutionary through their art.. Frida Kahlo, Diego Rivera married three times and divorced three times. Now that is love..!!

Poetry should be wild, barbaric, vast and open..... YEAH... I like that !

My Kitty Cat... Poetry from the heart is a warm muffin.. fresh and sweet.. savoring every bite is the experience of reading ... feeling it land into your stomach are the thoughts left in your mind...

      Did someone say chocolate?? LOL

Very beautiful thoughts.Good job !No more or less as someone says ,I cant recall his name ,poetry is the skeleton architecture of our lives. It sets the foundations for a future of change and I think poetry should be wild, barbaric, vast and open.

Michael, this is so deep, I think I need a life jacket! :D ... No, it's beautiful though and much of what you said is why I love poetry. It is what it is and it does for us what we need it to; when writing it or reading it. I write to relieve my heart and mind, I read and chose to make things personal and connect with the life that exists inside the words. It's amazing how words, carefully constructed together can create such deep feelings and emotions... as you're quite well at doing!

Voted up and more ~ Sharing too!

Hello Cleaner, it always amazes me that 2 people, can read the same message but the understanding of each one may be different. Reminds me of a time I was trying to explain something to my husband and son and I could not get through to them .My daughter was there and I asked her if she knew what I was talking about , she said Mom I know exactly what you mean, of course men and woman's minds do not work the same, It is nice to read someone else 'random thoughts. I have a lot of my own sometimes.Clara
