~~~ Confetti In Her Attic ~~~
~ Confetti In Her Attic ~
V1/ I call for you, my bride, now does thee cry a fear somewhere,
Within a chamber, filled with tears, that holds a smile which sweetly cares?
You cannot see a rainbow, for it hides behind your eyes;
Though I find it, when I gaze into your crystal blue disguise.
V2/ Your butterflies are dancing, ‘neath my undulating chest,
Threading hearty strings a tether, for you, they weave their loving nest.
Lips,as honey-water, quenching thirst to which they slake,
Inside thy glorious luncheon box, resides your frosted wedding cake.
V3/ This man was made for loving you; smooth hands to feather skin;
These dulcet words were honed, to cure your heartache, deep within.
Now when it rains, it always pours, so close your windows, open doors, of
Tender hearts, to fire the chill, I think of thee, I love you still….
