~~~ Ecstatic ~~~
Updated on November 23, 2013
~ Ecstatic ~
Lemon pie ‘pon starless sky,
Betrothed in bliss, like you and I;
Thy covenant queen’s blonde golden crown,
My dream, poured in your wedding gown.
Smiling beams dare’st butter thy face
In caramel themes through veils of lace;
Flowered youth of love, so slender,
‘Mid shades of weeping willow tender.
Bunting rests upon her catkin;
Quills, wax bright, like tiara’s hatpin.
Dayglow rays bounce chattering beak,
Reflects your eyes, to make thee weak.
Yea, gods and kings and monstrous things,
Wane low, when simple beauty sings;
Through hazel mirrors, ye search thine art,
Blithe pear drops reign, your lover’s heart.
THE END
      Thanks WL; glad you likey.
      Just read Part II of your priestess story - sounds like your Darren character needs to embrace a whole new life and get rid of those demons.
      I hope you're feeling alright and having a good weekend so far.
      Best wishes,
      R.Q.
      Thanks, R.Q. Quite frankly, I'm ready to take a vacation and plan on doing so sometime down the road. Two double duty weekends in a row, due to one of the girls being in the hospital. I'm tired but having an okay weekend overall. :D
      You're a trooper Flash, no mistake. I kind of got the vibe that you were ready for a break - covering for someone can be a challenge, especially after you've just recently recovered from illness yourself. Holiday road will be waiting for you :)
      Take Care,
      R.Q.
      Dearest Faith,
      Unfortunately, one could not use your photo, but only apprise thyself with imagination, because you were already taken when a young moon spaketh thy name in romantic mists of splendrous reverie :)
      Thank you for your always magic touch on the writes, and for your generous, sharing nature which never fails to uplift and enrapture.
      With Warm Regards,
      R.Q.
      Hi Mabelhenry,
      You're very kind for suggesting such ideas; certainly flirted with the thought about publishing an anthology when the time feels right, and can dedicate it to as many people as possible. Your own pieces on here are surely valuable and useful, reflecting an inspired and knowledgeable incisiveness that can only come with a close 'walk' with one's Maker.
      Thank you, and wish you a marvellous week ahead.
      Many thanks Wetnosedogs; I give all credit for anything acceptable and passable to God, and send your wonderful remarks to Him.
      Stay warm and sending virtual, playful belly rubs to each of your comedy babies.
      Kind Regards,
      R.Q.
      Thanks for dropping by and hope you have an exciting week ahead.
      Wowww RQ,
      You are mind blowing in this exclusive piece of creativity here. Words are almost dropping like honey dew and sweet never the less....expressions are tender and very much touchy..You can make a lady feel proud to be ....which is rare now a days among so much disrespect toward women around. I am from India and here every other day one witnesses humility and degradation in either way shown to a lady. So your poem is kind of a gush of wind from paradise in praise of women. Thank you very much for this wonderful poem and more then gorgeous pictures to go with it.
      Many blessing and smiles you way...votes up and shared.
      I can certainly see the beauty of the bride through the lover's eyes, especially in the second verse. All good!
