~~~ 'Enraptured' ~~~
Updated on September 3, 2014
~ ' Enraptured ' ~
Spindrift plinth 'neath blackened space,
Winch slackened hearts 'fore heaven's face;
Thro' ethered courts, horizon plays,
Nigheth Summer's nights in English daze.
Therest Eve ' n' Adam employed by gaiety's,
Moonlit sands, eclipsed by Deity's
Compassed hands, cup gentle laiety
O' Christian clans, in flesh-bound frailty.
Taurus chargeth 'mongst His dark,
Cajoled by Aries' cryptic spark;
Thence tattlers perch splashed beach below,
In rhymes, sublime, chirps aerial show.
Yon chiselled leaves like sculpted glass,
Float windfall's flakes to earth, harass;
A lover's clinch in sweet disguise,
Grown weak via kryptonite in her eyes.
THE END.
      Good evening to you lisasvanvorst;
      Happy to make your acquaintance here on HP ma'am, and after taking a brief look at your page see that you like to write realistic poetry so will certainly look forward to reading through a few in due course.
      Many thanks for parking such amazing reportage here this Sunday and send warm regards to you and your family in New Jersey from a reticent eventide in merry old England.
      Bye for now;
      Hi Marie Flint;
      Thank you for your contribution and after writing this offering, thought that the chosen picture would help set the mood suggested by the opening line.
      Copy the pic if you like collecting these kind of images.
      Sincerely,
      R.Q.
      Hi MsDora;
      I hope life in the Caribbean is working out well for you all; if there's any stress to be had, I couldn't think of a better place for you to unwind.
      Yes indeed; Adam and Eve never did have it better the lucky blighters :) ... if only life was really like that all of the time.
      Have a marvellous week ahead;
      Take care.
      Together--on the beach--in the moonlight! Adam and Eve never had it any better.
      Hey Romeos, that was very cozy and romantically special. Something that'll sweep her off her feet. Blew me away. You go, bro.
      I read it twice, Romeo, the second time was slower and sank in my mind like the words of an ancient poet as he gazes at the stars. Beautiful. I love how it flows and I love your style. Up, A, B, I and H+
