~~~ Hwyl ~~~
~ Hwyl ~
Conferred via golden, sunblest phial,
She wears His rainbow for her smile;
Lipped gules read true 'till eight greets four,
Thence part red seas' swung promised doors.
Planed sundial nose slopes bobbin 'bove,
Quiet umbrae chime their time for love;
Silk equus locks, fine prairie besom,
Might sweep one's soul 'cross seventh heav'n.
Smooth fragranced trim greets waving fichu,
Harebells, blue-throats weaved insitu;
Gulch coule'e swathed via pendulous ticks,
Her heart, Thine art, thou'st always picks.
One glance couldst turn mauve leaves to green,
Invigorating our lost dream,
Which found its reive 'mongst sin of Kings,
Clipped remex might, from gloried wings.
Castellan o'er secrets' hidden tower,
Blue riband, adorns our private bower.
Still silence brands with base finality,
Unnerves vitality's sweet reality.
Thy mort shan't fall as winter's rose,
Nor fade, like spring-time's vernal pose;
That leans t'ward her Eden thoughts,
Begat in yore from streams of quartz.
THE END
      I must read this gem over and over! Fantastic piece. I will admit I had to Google some of the words, as the Thesaurus did not do : ) ... and voila!
      Up and more and away again
      Blessings
      Dear Faith;
      Maybe we should write a new Thesaurus? You're a star. Thank you.
      I hope this forthcoming weekend surrounds you with indelible memories of great worth, just like their bearer. Enjoy your coconut cake! :)
      Romeos Dear brother. I have read this a couple of times. I marvel at your works. When I first read I heard and visualized Gods glorious design in nature and humanity. Just beautiful. The second time it was as if the Lord jumped out and I am reminded He owns it all. Glorious read. This is one of my favorite. I will come back to absorb more. I just love you bro. I have been elsewhere than online. Lets say I have been on a sabbatical of sorts. I hope to get to writing. It is well. I see you have not published much at the hubs. I am sure you are busy with your other sites as well. My love to a dear friend. Hugs Galore, Skye
      Dear Skye;
      Thank you for coming by; just seen your comment and happy to hear that you are well and in fine fettle. I know that you are loved by God, so have written this simple piece, dedicated to you, and for all whom His favour rests. Enjoy a lovely weekend( you and the family ).
      ~~~ INRI ~~~

      I

      In primordial, ancient swirls, before first tick ever tocked and darkness became still-born; before compass ever stretched itself o'er vast expanse of man's unknowns, and the poles sought direction, He was there. When love was silent to the consciousness bestowed upon flesh and long before the first note was ever issued from Angelic praise, He was there. Before words wert spake and glory lay unrecorded and the thought of man's essence gave rise for celebration, He was there.

      Whensoever the seen maketh the unseen greater still and future's art unsheathed to souls in faith, He will be there. Before seed created and need wert sated, He was there.

      Wherest hope is swaddled and love is dandled, He is there. Whenst Eve lived inside of man and Adam gave birth to mankind's mother, He was there. Before page was made and words remained unwritten, He was there.

      II

      He shineth light 'pon Gentile; Jew;

      He guides the shadow which follows you;

      He opens up His gates of dawn,

      Lives in this place wherest vows are sworn.

      He is here; He is prayer;

      Aye, is near, He is there;

      He's the life of thy soul,

      And the death of despair.

      Whenst closeth eyne and when ye sleep,

      E'en whence you laugh and when thou'st weep;

      'Tween water; thirst;

      Twilight, sunburst,

      His Spirit 'queathes breath,

      His joy breeds mirth.

      New beginnings of day

      Stealeth end of a night;

      See'eth world of the dead,

      King of beings in flight;

      Whereth bow greets eye,

      Merry vie meets why,

      He's the blood in the sky,

      Yea, for you and for I.

      THE END

      With Loving Regards and warm compliments to a dear friend;

      R.Q.

      Romeo, Romeo, where art thou, Romeo. Well hello there. I have missed you immensely here on hub pages. You are in my thoughts and prayers. I had to go hubbing to find you. These poems are exquisite and full of lyrical genius. The II of ENRI what glorious expression, fit for coffee table ponderings. I call forth the book of poems you are writing to materialize and heal. I made a recent discovery of late expression is so much more than merely writing, but has a scribal purpose which entails my experiential and personal chronicle of my journey towards loving God with all of my heart, soul and strength. For those of us who ascribe with our pen and paper we are indeed in love with more than ourselves and we take courage towards expressing it through the silent, but profound gift of writing. Come visit when you have some spare time. I love you. http://mabelhenry.hubpages.com/hub/Loving-God-with... Have a great weekend and week.

      Good to hear from you Mabel E. Henry. I trust that all is going well for you in Harrisburig. Thank you for your kind words; have been busy working other jobs. I read your Hub article which you relayed in your link and found the pastor's sermon conjoined with your own personal testimony very instructive, knowledgeable and edifying on how to keep the greatest of all of the commandments.

      Certainly glad that you found the writing you mentioned as fit for pondering on and that it may actually be of benefit to the reader - if it's remedial effects extend to curing more than a wobbly table leg then that's always a bonus :)

      Thanks again for your blessings and hope that you too enjoy a fabulous week in front of you.

      Warm Regards to a special lady;
