~ I'm Your Bass;You're My Treble ~

Updated on June 19, 2013

~ I'm Your Bass; You're My Treble ~

V1/ Ruminating, contemplating;

Hesitating, forever waiting.

Facades, regards, and words that flatter,

Seem to me, no longer matter.

Coming in, and going out,

There's only you, worth shouting 'bout.

V2/ Shady friends, deceiving mothers;

Traitorous acts, by phoney brothers.

Each concerned with shallow ego;

Couldn't give a damn where we go.

V3/ Life, and death, and in between,

Is what we have to make our scene.

Circles in time, conduct our action,

Comforts, wounds, and lends distraction.

Your smile, a scimitar, cleaves my heart,

The curve that sets me heart.

V4/ The cool of evening, still of the night,

I think of you, though out of sight.

Ideas flow faster, than pens can write,

Approaching soon, morns' early light.

I'll take you to places, where dreams are born,

Where secrets form; stars sleep at dawn.

      Well, I just happen to love this! Obviously there's a little touch of some sadness here, but it's still beautiful!

      Yours Truly,
