~~~ Juliet's Pain ~~~
Updated on June 21, 2013
~ Juliet's Pain ~
VERSE
ONE/ Romeo's here, Casanova's over;
There's a new love in town,
From the White Cliffs of Dover.
Rhyming, while a trancing,
Singin' and romancing,
Making all the pretty girls feel like dancing.
CHORUS/ Dia-mond geyser, never a teaser;
Rocks like Weezer; la-dy pleaser.
Knows 'bout reflections
Smoke, and mirrors,
And your memories, how they soak,
Into tear-drenched pillows;
VERSE
TWO/ How you suffer, from the lies,
And mis-information,
Why your love packs its' bags
With no destination.
When their heart's not real,
Then their mouth's untrue,
They can go sell cra-zy
Some place new.
VERSE
THREE/ They ain't never gonna heal,
And their soul won't feel,
When they're breaking into lives
For an all-time steal
Of the honey,and the sugar,
Sad affect-ion tuggers,
They're a waste of a taste,
Send 'em packing,
Post haste.
REPEAT CHORUS ( To Fade ........ )
      Cheers Cat;
      There's no free Prince tracks on Youtube, so I guess that's why you don't hear much from him, if that is your main musical stomping ground.
      All the best,
      Well, people often put them up, but they keep getting taken down, so if you download any, the time-frame window is very narrow indeed.
      Oh... well, I don't know about all that, but I had him on tape as a kid and still catch him on the radio some.
      A great musical talent....' Little Red Corvette ' is a classic now;so many other great songs as well.And be careful about mentioning the ' T ' word around here.....folk might think you're old lol!
      Oh my goodness, yes and he pounded them out, one after another for a while there... including 'Purple Rain' and even a movie?
      Yes... tapes, lol... that was my childhood and even what I needed to play in my first car! Hey, at least I'm not throwing around the word '8-track'... though I have dared to say that on these pages before :D lol
      'Purple Rain' is a fantastic song as well.
      I remember an eight-track knocking around the house when I was a kid, with those chunky, rectangular tapes - I think it was The Eagles, and Don McClean that got the loudest airing.....
      American Pie? That's like, the longest song in history... or something, don't quote me on that. :D
      Oh... the Eagles? My brother's had them on tape and CD... he's a huge fan! ... my oldest brother. Hmmm, we were listen to old country on our 8-tracks... a little Elvis maybe? 'Course, Elvis, the Beatles... they were on our record player too :D
      The longest song in history?
      I just checked it out...the longest(recorded) song in history is by a band called 'Bull Of Heaven', with the track, 'The Chosen Priest And Apostle Of Infinite Space.' - it's more than two-months long lol!(How's that for being nerdy?).They have another one, which I think hasn't been recorded(for practical reasons), which is over fifty-thousand hours in length....that's more than six years of continuous song :)
      I don't think that one will be in the shops any time soon.
      Okay... I can't touch two-months! How does somebody record a song for 2 months??? Geesh! Fine... I'll never use that American Pie reference again... lol.
      Lol!Does seem like a bit of a yawn to record for that length of time. And hey;I like American Pie, so don't worry.
      Another great poem. Love sustained by truth is for life. Love living in a lie is destined to die.
