~~~ Just Her ~~~
Updated on May 07, 2013
~ Just You ~
V1/ The azure sky,on a cloudless May,
Cannot compare with you,today;
All mystery,that is woman
Lies behind those eyes;
A promise;a secret;a willing surprise.
V2/ I long to hear,your hidden tales,
That dance,behind your crystal veils;
Do they speak of love,and pain gone by?
Do they dream, of dreams,that never die?
V3/ I pour my life,into your cup,
And fill it to the brim;
You sip,at first,to quench your thirst,
Then let it flow within.
Love travels,round,your tender frame,
Until the journey's done;
My glorious lady,has been reached,
Now both hearts beat as one.
V4/ Such perfect skin,that you live in,
Encase rich treasures,that dwell within;
Your inner beauty,shines on through,
Inspiring me,in what I do.
V5/ A flick of the hair,affectionate eyes;
Sweet gestures of hope,that play on my mind.
I swallow the air,then draw you in;
When I breath out," It's you! ",I shout.
V6/ I close brown eyes,when I feel blue;
Why does it hurt,when I think of you?;
So,abide with me,my modern-day Eve,
Through the garden of love,
Where,we'll never leave.
      You have a gift my dear... you truly have a gift! I don't know if you have any other outlets, but these gems of yours need to be shared with the world! Perhaps I should consider changing to "Cantuhearmescreamin'boutRomeo?" It's a mouthful, but then again... if the shoe fits...? :-)
      Makin' my day... makin' my day!
      Your biggest fan,
      Well Sir R.Q. you must be one of the most romantic gentlemen on the face of this earth and you must have adoring women following you everywhere like Robbie Williams and James Bond.
      You certainly know how to choose the right words so I must take note and study you closely because the last time I got lucky - Margaret Thatcher was your Prime Minister, lol.
      Sending you warm wishes and good energy from a starry night over the lake and now for a listen of one of my favorite albums by Roxy Music - the Siren album and a couple of brown pops to toast to your good health at 11:05pm lake erie canada
      Dear Colin & Furballs;
      Ha! Ha! Thatcher(or Hitler in drag as some of the more uncharitable folk called her) wasn't very lucky for this country,according to many,buy I'm glad that at least someone got lucky during her tenure.
      To be honest,Colin,I've only been doing this poetry thing for a very short period of time,and I've hardly read any of the past master's work,as I never envisaged doing this kind of thing,but life generally has a way of making necessity the mother of invention.
      I don't have the problem with adoring women,as I only save the best for a monogamous relationship,but it would be flattering!
      ...And I love Roxy Music,especially 'Angel Eyes','More Than This',and 'Over You'-what a star Bryan Ferry is.
      With warm regards,from a now,sunless Britain.
