Mysteries from a thousand loves soar thro' a star-strewn fall
T'ward their husbands, wives and those besides, whom heed her seasoned call,
Singing, " Never were thee so wonderful, lo, 'till lips on lips wert stoked;
Oh, ne'er wert ye so beautiful, aye, 'till eyes lay lunar cloaked. "
Pearl of autumn shade which governed darkled ancient heaven,
Consents to swell a princely tide, so aide His week of perfect seven;
Queenly breeze greets Caesar seas,
Thence curtsy 'fore eve's crescent frieze.
Tongues of ocean's cauldron lapped at summer's golden fringe,
As 'ternal wings of morning's vow crept shards of warm, vanilla spring.
Breathing light and lustre throughout antumbrous graveyard hours,
Lifting spirits of flagging fluster bereft of gazing, blooming flowers.
Nowst dusk's enchantment weeps whilst brume be banished afore her land,
As haziness doth sleep 'till Anglian mizzle deploys liquescent band.
Let time depart from heavy hearts left trembling in the cold;
Yea, run to thee, where föhn may flee to arms which will enfold.
Elope with lee, in earnest mists of once upon a rhyme;
Whereth aeons' ambrosial chimes' celeste siroccos make ye mine.
