~~~ Pandora's Jar ~~~
Updated on May 9, 2013
~ Pandora's Jar ~
He paints with words,
So your heart may see,
This delectable beauty,
Of majesty.
The feelings within;
The thrill of the rush,
She creates,
Could never,be captured by brush.
He'll strive,for the essence,of His handiwork,
From the glint of her glance,to a simpering quirk.
Sowing her praise,to the fourth dimension,
'Bout a fleeting second,that is filled with intention.
Mixing it up,with emotion,that's laden,
With truth,from the eyes,of his mollycoddled maiden.
The bat of a lash;the press from her lips;
This ecstasy,pain,how her sweetness grips.
She's a magical creature,that is so unique,
Precious time with her,one could never sleep.
Fearing nought,on the earth,that might draw a breath,
Yet to declare one's love,scares him half to death.
Sometimes cowardly,and occasionally cries,
Then promises the world,with her casual lies.
But despite all these faults,with some false pretending,
Weighed words,made for her,from himself,he is sending.
So,darling,do not spurn,an honest advance,
To settle,for destiny,fate,or chance.
Your happiness,reserved,won't continue for less,
Than some love,and your physical faithfulness.
      This is absolutely beautiful, I sense some differences in emotion. Love and fear? Admiration and apprehension? Is it okay to fall in love with something that seems so obvious? Is everything that is too good, too good to be true? I think I need to let this one soak in and return for further thought. :-) Nonetheless, Beautiful... the way you speak of love and women is intoxicating! Loved it, as always!
      Yours,
      Cat
      Love your poetic heart my friend - you are truly a lovely lovely writer with such heart and soul and you can't teach that at writing school - you either have it or you don't - and you definitely have it ......
      sending you warm wishes from Colin and his cats and his wild rocking afterhours club where the music is currently fookin' loud - amazing because it's so quiet outside right now, well that's yin and yang for you, lol
      Thank you,Eddy.
      You're very kind,and when I first saw your photography,I was really impressed.No doubt,it helps to have beautiful scenery to focus upon,but nevertheless,such crisp and pin-sharp pics, I'll reiterate, are of post card,and magazine quality.
      Thanks Rose(if I may!).
      I borrowed this high-grade photograph from supermodel Hilary Rhoda.
      And yes;poetry is probably one of the highest forms of self-expression; drawing, and music are totally up there, also, I reckon.
      Have a marvelous weekend;
