Radiating positive rays of hope

Updated on August 13, 2013

Rays of hope, from within shining

Enchanting beams, ever enticing

Charming us with attractive ease

With beaming promises to please

With their assurance, draw us near

With lively light, none to fear.

Being positive always brings people closer to you.

Source

Beaming rays from in us shine

That withstand any test of time

The light from in us can radiate

If we choose to beam, illuminate

Be always kept in the know

Of how to emit this vibrant glow

Keep yourself in the know about being positive - take classes if you need to!

Don't worry Be Happy Bobby McFerrin

The beaming rays should remain pure

Darkness creeps in with stealth, to ignore

Calm the mind, ever engaged

Tend the heart, ever enraged

Calm the spirit, put soul at ease

Seek out everlasting peace

Calm yourself down everyday through prayer and meditation. Cleanse the spirit.

Source

With healthy habit, we channel light

Reading words that affirm, lines of might

Reminding ourselves not to stray

From positive thoughts every day

Share a few hugs, read a comforting book

Say a few kind words, sit by a brook

Have healthy routine habits. like reading, or simply making the point to read words of affirmation to yourself.

Source

Avoid the souls which cloud one’s light

For they make the day less bright

Surround oneself with brave, strong hearts

From selves that moan, be quick to part.

Remind, if yourself be the soul that depresses

Never to be darkness that represses

Surround yourself with positive folks!

Source

Allow oneself to be the beam

Hopefulness that mends broken dreams

The little spark that lights the fire

When the day seems most dire

Be the glow that lights the way

That brings relief to someone’s day

Allow yourself to be the spark that lights the fire, to shine for others and to enjoy the moment.

Rays of hope, glowing from within

Powerful light, though it be small

Radiate from in us all.

Hi Jenna! I saw you on Chime In and I've followed you there, and here as well! Thanks for the support! I fell in love with the pictures yesterday when I was writing this and I wish that I could see the Aurora too. That is especially true since I live in a tropical environment (Singapore) where it is really hot at times. Thanks for coming by and I look forward to reading your hubs as well!

Yes, Mary, very important that we surround ourselves with positive people indeed. It's the negative ones that drag us down. Thanks for dropping by! WIll be swinging by in a bit too.

So uplifting and loved your words on being positive. As you know I am a firm believer in being positive and living each day trying to smile as much as one can, so this poem spoke volumes to me. I truly enjoyed it and loved that you even included the video for Bobby McFarrin's "Don't Worry Be Happy," because that songs works perfectly here. Have of course voted up, shared and tweeted too!!
