~~~ She ~~~
Updated on May 16, 2013
~ " She " ~
Traces,from places we used to go;
Snapshots of memories they'll never know.
Pavements,and boardwalks,that clip-clopped your heels;
Diamonds,and bracelets;romantic meals.
The lady in red has nothing on you;
Silhouette,of your form was a breath-taking view.
Your fragrance still lingers,that lowered my defences,
From love-scented hints,that crashed all my senses.
Yesterday,was yours;tomorrow you'll be mine;
A feather-light touch lost in moments of time.
The moonlit dusk danced upon your eyes,
As you lay there,next to me;
Twinkled tears rolled forth,from a star-sparkling glance,
In the sweetest surrender of your ecstasy.
      Oh how beautiful, nothing is sweeter than words written from the heart and spoken from a romantic tongue; both of which drip from your quill in abundance! Another beautiful one Romeo, but then, I am not surprised :-)
      Yours Truly,
      I'm very glad that you like the work,although it certainly doesn't feel like work when the person in question,who is being penned,springs to mind.Your writing is becoming even better,in my opinion.
      I like it very much, as I always do... I look forward to them every day!
      Yes, she sounds lovely, she's a lucky girl to have such a romantic guy be so fond of her.
      Thank you... I will gladly take that compliment... I'm kind of the Dr. Seuss type of writer, nothing compared to your historical gems, but I try :-) And... I believe I told you before; you inspire me!
      Yours,
      Cat
      This one was purely from imagination;no shred of reality here,although the positive parts of it could be the model template in a possible future,not very far from now ....
      I've not read any Dr.Seuss,although I've seen the artwork everywhere,and have glimpsed brief epithets of the man(Wasn't he mentioned in the lyrics of the band R.E.M.?-sidewinder sleeps tonight,I recall)....And to inspire you?Well...then my work here is done.Keep going :)
      Yours,
      Really, well you're truly convincing... I should tell no one your secret... it is the reality of these gems that add to their beauty. It would certainly be a template in which I would appreciate, myself. ;-)
      No Mister Rogers or Doctor Seuss, but you are familiar with Jim Carrey? hahaha :-) He was a poet you know, aside from a writer and cartoonist... that's Doctor Seuss, not Jim Carrey :-)
      Oooh, now you're going to have me Googling... I must find out and R.E.M., they've had some beauties :-) Have you not ever heard "I do not like green eggs and ham, I do not like them Sam I am!" ? -Seuss :-)
      Do you inspire me? Of course silly rabbit!
      Yours,
      I'm aware of how famous 'Green Eggs & Ham' is,but,to be quite frank,I hardly read other men's poetry(the classics etc...),because I do not want to subconsciously steal from their writings-I try to keep it original,but if influenced by a writer,I'll mention it,in order to give them some credit,as it seems to be the right thing to do.
      Jim Carey is great! I love almost all of his movies(he's done a few turkey's but hey,who hasn't?)A brilliant comedian and comic actor.I think Mrs. Rogers wouldn't let Mr.Rogers come out to play in England :)
      Ah, before you even finished your sentence I was thinking... "and well you shouldn't as I would hate to think of it tainting the beautiful poetry you currently create" your version of subconsciously stealing from their writings is a little different from mine :-)
      Besides, I was only playing about the Doctor... maybe picking on myself, as if influenced by a rhyming cartoonist, remember... it is me here we're talking about :D
      Oh, I couldn't agree with you more about ol' Jim bob! I've always been a big fan, but yes... there are a couple he could've passed on :-)
      Ha, ha, ha... oh my gosh... laughing... laughing quite hard :-)
      Yours,
      Cat
